The other day, Ben from United Kingdom hit me up on our Facebook and we got into a nice discussion about where the stance movement is going in England. From the sound of it, a lot of people are still not that into it (other then the VW heads) but slowly, it’s taking off. Lots of blokes are still into the VW’s, after all, Dubs are Euro cars so that’s no surprise, but what surprises me is that no one tries to step outside the box and start something new.

I mean, we here in US are into the whole Euro scene with our VW/Audi/BMW’s, as well as the JDM stuff, but from what I can tell, out in England not too many people are really doing anything like that to stand out from the crowd. To those few who are stepping their game up, there are rewards! Take Ben Bockett’s 2002 Impreza STI Type UK Prodrive Edition for example.

Sitting Right:
Rota Grid
18×9.5 +38R +33F
225/40/18’s all aorund
BC Coilovers
EZ Camber bolts

Just look at the way this thing sits. The tires are just millimeters away from the fenders. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not the most aggressive setup ever, but it sure looks good. Just recently, Fast Car Magazine out of UK contacted Ben and are apparently doing a feature of it in the Magazine! This is definitely something to be proud of. Check out more pictures and a bigger mod list below.

Rest of the mods:
Goodridge brake lines
Tein Bonnet dampers
Front and Rear strut braces
Blitz Nur Spec exhaust Turbo back
Forge Uprated Actuator
Apexi AVCR
HKS SSQV Blow off valve
Walbro Uprated fuel pump
APS Cold air intake
EcuTek remap
Sparco 4 point harnesses
Datum 1 rear tow hook.

As you can tell from the mod list, this thing can move too. Ben tells me it’s currently running 365 HP & 360 ft/lb Torque. Now, I dunno about you, but to me those are some pretty solid numbers.

Apparently the shoot attracted lots of attention. Make sure you get yourself a copy of the upcoming Fast Car Magazine if you can to see a full seven page spread of Ben’s car. A big thanks goes out to Fast Car photographers and of course Ben himself. Great guy with a great car. Keep up the good work!
