Well, this had to be one of the longest days of my life. I was up since 10AM on Friday morning, installing some new stuff on my car with my buddy & running the usual daily errands until about 10PM on Friday night. I got ready and hit the road at about 2AM on Saturday morning and made it to Buena Park by 8AM. The official meet time was 11AM, but people started showing up as early as 8.45! The main lot right in front of Island Motorsports was pretty much packed by about 9.30 and we had to start moving people on the street right in front of the shop.

Before you know it, 11AM came and some of the sickest rides I’ve ever seen started rolling in from both sides. Our good friends Nilo & Ross from Midnight Garage cranked up the Grill and the Hamburgers & Hotdogs started smelling up the place! Even though I was super tired, and exhausted from the driving and not sleeping for 24 hours, the joy of seeing all these cars and meeting awesome new people kept me up and running! By 11.30 we had well over a 100 cars, and people were still rolling in! Our street parking was full, up and down the street so we had to move the next group across the street at the Church Parking lot. They were kind enough to let us park there unlike some business around who wouldn’t even budge and would call cops if we park one car on their property.

We were pretty upset about it, but it was out of our hands.I ended up driving home right after the meet for another 6 hours and crashed for the next 14 hours! The meet was awesome, and I can’t wait for the next one! We will be announcing a date and location very soon here! We promise for a better and bigger meet/show in the future.
