If this isn’t your first time visiting StanceNation, you’re probably aware of Subaru’s potential in this aggressive fitment movement we’re trying to push. It’s as simple as dropping your car on a nice set of coilovers and mounting the right set of wheels. Do just that, and you will have a seriously clean ride. However, if you’re anything like Erik Sprentall, that will only be the beginning of your journey!

Sitting Right:

– Suspension:
JIC Magic FLT-A2 coilovers
Cobb rear sway bar
Perrin rear endlinks…

Erik as you can see, went with the Linea Corse Lemans wheels in 18X9.5 all around. No staggered setup here, this all wheel drive bad boy needs just as much of a wheel up front as he does in the back. With the power Erik is pushing on daily basis, a set of Dunlop tires was needed to wrap the wheels with. A set of JIC Magi FLT-A2 coilovers didn’t fully satisfy Erik’s handling needs, so new sway’s, endlinks and bushings were added to keep the car not only sitting right, but performing right as well.

As much as we appreciate the traditional spoilers of Subaru’s, seeing a wingless Subie just makes us wish they all came this way. The wide fender flares and all the creasing on the trunk is aggressive enough if you ask us.

With every nice set of wheels, and a good amount of power under the hood, you need a good set of brakes. In this case, Erik decided to go with the Racing brake 6 pot big brake kit to help keep this WRX under control when need be.

Under the hood you will find plenty of stuff, such as the Turbosmart boost controller, Greddy headers, ERZ downpipe, and that big, nice looking SSAutochrome FMIC! The car is running on E85 (Thanks to Mark Jones Tuning) and is pushing 356whp & 310wtq! Not too bad for a daily driver, is it?

Running Strong:
FP Green 2.4″ inlet, 7cm
Ultimate Racing ewg uppipe
TiAL 38mm wastegate
Turbosmart dual stage boost controller
Greddy Unequal Length header
Turbo XS RFL bov
Cusco catch can
ERZ downpipe
SSAutochrome FMIC…

Erik didn’t just stop there. His WRX is running the Version 7 JDM STi 6 Speed, STi short throw shifter as well as the Kartboy Pitch.

So, we’ve determined that the car is not all “show”, but it actually can give a lot of cars a run for their money! As you can see in this photo, without overdoing the exterior, the aggressive Cusco front lip really stands out and sits just right. STI headlights, sideskirts and foglights cover complete the car’s exterior. We really love the car’s overall look, and while we have no idea what’s next on Erik’s agenda for the car (if anything) we’re super excited to see it! Seems like the car is in good hands, right?

We want to give a big thank you to Erik for letting our photographer Chris shoot the car, and for allowing us to feature it. Chris did an amazing job capturing some awesome photographs from the right angles and at the right places! StanceNation has Arizona on lock and we will bring nothing but the best out of this Grand Canyon State!
