As the aggressive stance scene keeps growing, so do the challenges of standing out from rest of the crowd. Mazda RX8′s have never really been taken seriously by the fitment-crazy crowd until recently. We are seeing more and more of them around the net, and some of them are absolutely stunning, such as this one from Washington. It belongs to a guy named Sean, and we gotta say that he seriously has an awesome taste when it comes to his car. This thing looks aggressive as hell, and definitely makes you think twice about fitting an RX8. Read the rest of the story below.

Photography By: Jonathan Ray exclusively for StanceNation.com

The presence of this car upfront is just disturbing, especially when you have a amazing photographer like Jonathan Ray to capture it. The EVO-R carbon Fiber front lip is sitting just inches off the ground and those KEI Office Replica eyelids were just the perfect touch. You’re definitely going to consider moving to the side when you see that face in your rear view mirror. Sean is a very big fan of the carbon-fiber look, so he wrapped his roof and the trunk with the latest wrap from 3M. Other Carbon Fiber things are the VIS hood as well as the EVO-R lip as we previously noted. This RX8 also has a set of Seibon CF skirts, but at the time of the shoot they were off for some reason. Fitment specs below.

Sitting Right:
18×9.5 + 15 offset Bronze MB Battles
225/40/18 (F) and 245/40/18 (R)
BLox anodized blue extended lugs
Megan track coilovers

As you can see, the sexy MB Battles seem to flow very well with the rest of the car. Not too simple or too crazy, but the 9.5 with the +15 clearly work on this bad boy. Sean bought this thing brand new back in 2008, and has been daily driving it ever since.

Now that he is somewhat satisfied with the way the car sits and looks, his focus is all under the hood. Make sure you click Read More to find out what the guy is planning on doing and why.

You see, Sean is a serious car guy. He has been working on cars with his step dad for a while now, and as a matter of fact, one of the first cars they’ve built was a 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. Now, if you know anything about American classics, you know that majority of them are packing some serious power under their hoods. We only point this out because the next big upgrade to this car will be the almighty LS1 under the hood. Can’t say we’re not looking forward to that ourselves, as a matter of fact, all we could think of when we heard that was how sweet this thing would look sideways!

Big thank you as always to our photographer Jonathan Ray, and if you’re a fan of his photos as much as we are, make sure you take a second and vote for him by clicking this link. Also, Sean and his amazing RX8, both of you are awesome and as we said before, we’re looking forward to that LS1. Make sure you stay in touch and hit us up when that monster is ready to be “unveiled”.

I live in the northwest I haven't seen this car at any shows. Car looks good but major FAIL on the wheels. Why would you put garbage on such a nice car.
  19. RCFC89 September 14, 2010 at 1:05 PM Reply
No offense on the above post just hard for me to swallow things like discount tire wheels and megan products on a very well done build. Its clear finances weren't an issue so why no run Advan F7's which are identical but much nicer then the battles and maybe legit suspension components like Tein/Stance. Sorry for the rant, car looks awesome but damn.

I have BC coilovers, and are pretty much the same as Megan and I love them. They were about a grand, and dropped my car more then any others. No issues whatsoever. I don't see a problem with running Megans..but it's all personal preference and stuff, ya know.

Though the car was clearly built on a budget (MB's, Megan, Blox, carbon wrap, etc) no one can deny that it was put together well. Nice post! I don't think I'd quite compare this to Carson's car (the norcal white 8 with Volks) as that car is thoroughly built and absolutely authentic but this one is nice, nonetheless.

looks mean and fitment is dope... "You’re definitely going to consider moving to the side when you see that face in your rear view mirror." but the only reason i'd move to the side is to see how long it takes for the 200whp to get it by me

Thanks for the Love and Hate! Car is still a work in progress, and next mod will be 11" wide "legit" wheels. Thanks again to Jonathon Ray again for the awesome pictures

Love the car personally Sean. Wish I could see it in person!

Good to hear on the wheels. We really need to get a FC/FD/FE photoshoot going here locally. I have one coming up next week with a competing forum :P Was going to do one from here but never was contacted.

LOVE THE CAR! One question though, how did you get the vibrant green tint on the carbon fiber hood?
  26. lorotor September 15, 2010 at 10:52 AM Reply
To answer on my tails they are painted. VIS uses a UV gelcoat not clear coat so resin faded that yellowish green color. I don't care still looks nice kinda like carbon Kevlar. Will replace with a vented hood down the road.
  27. bahc September 15, 2010 at 12:43 PM Reply
i dont see whats wrong with megan suspension.
  28. bahc September 15, 2010 at 12:53 PM Reply

Go through RX8Club.com for the DIY eyelids, stock RX-8 headlights are projectors. It looks like he has a cold air intake, second picture shows the reflection of the down pipe.
