Here is a interesting observation. In the last few months we’ve been noticing more and more cars that sit low and aggressive already go even lower, all to just be lower a couple of millimeters than their friends and cars they see on other sites and forums. While we don’t discourage you from closing that gap between the oil pan and the ground, we think it’s important to not get carried away with the whole “Lower, the better” talk. With that said, here is one of our favorite Subaru STI’s at the moment.

How can this thing possibly be one of our favorites? Well, the car isn’t trying to be something it’s not, first of all, and secondly this STI’s posture is just right. Wheels poke slightly past the fenders while top of the tires are hidden under the fenders. It’s important to realize that to Chu, who owns the car, it was never important to sit lower or have more camber than every other STI out there, but rather look good, and still maintain that “functionality” element.
The car is sitting on Tein Mono Flex Coilovers, and the absolutely wonderful set of Advan RS’s in 18×9 all around. Wheels are wrapped in Dunlop Direzza’s with the perfect amount of stretch. In the rear, the car is sporting the almighty Voltex Diffuser which happens to be one of our favorite things on Chu’s ride. To go with the mean/aggressive look, Chu threw on the Zero Sports front bumper with that big mouth!
Another awesome thing about car is the super rare Prodrive Jasma Exhaust. Looks great, performs even better and sounds awesome! This Stage 2 tuned STi is pushing over 300HP at the wheels and looking good doing it. You won’t see one of these in person for a while. Inside the cockpit, Chu has upgraded to a OMP Racing Seat along with the steering wheel. Looks pretty damn good if you ask us! Enough talking though, here is some more pictures of the ride, and if it’s not enough for you, head on over to our photographers smugMug to see the rest! We want to thank Chu as well as Edwin for awesome work!
