Our friends at VAD Wheels all the way from England emailed us a few photos of one of their older builds that we fell in love with instantly! It may not be as low as some of the cars we post here, but if you want to talk “aggressive wheels”, this Porsche 997 Turbo takes the cake. The Altstadt F100 wheels are only 20×9 up front while the rear end is rocking a massive 20×13.5 wheels! How does 245/30R20 & 325/25R20 sound for the tires? At the time these photos were taken the car sat on H&R coilover suspension. It was also remaped, and it had AGI Headers & Exhaust system going for it. Lastly, the exterior was finished with a Techart kit! Consider this just the begining as these guys are currently working on a pair of vehicles that will blow your mind away. How does 22×12 & 22×13.5 sound to you?

Again wtfreak? i mean the car itself looks nice obviously but i still don't get the point in having such wide wheels in the rear... typically most cars that i have seen that have staggered wheels typically have 1 inch difference in wheel width where as this one has 4.5 inches difference... if you go that wide in the rear why not go wider in the front?

you do it because you can. that shouldn't be that difficult to understand. Whoever made it/ owns it, keep doing what you're doing.

I don't know Elvis....I am looking at 996TT's right now to replace the BMW and Mini and I'm a Porsche lover....but that wheel setup....something just looks....odd. Still a bad ass ride though. Love the kit....and the Porsche legacy is a work of art.

When you have a ton of power..you gotta have a ton of meat to put it down. Front fenders of the 996 are pretty narrow so you can't be going too crazy up front. But yes, Porsches are amazing!

i like it aye not a huge porsche fan but this i like!! an the fitmint is perfect if he went wider at the front it would look silly as it would stick out more than the back but as it is now is just right realy nice!!!

Yeah Elvis is right, front porsche fenders are REALLY small compared to rears. And its because the engine is rear-mounted, so all the power AND weight sit over those two wheels. I LOVEEEEE the polished set on this one! drool

That setup is looking for major understeer. Thats freaking retarded. A perfectly balanced car now plowing throw corners with overly skinny tires on the front and absurd tires on the back. It does look good, but at what cost?

@ Jake: Not ALL the power is on those rear wheels. The turbo is AWD ;) Btw: OEM wheel size on a GT3 has already 3.5" difference in width. It's 8.5 front and 12 rear. Not sure about the OEM turbo sizes tho.

the car looks sick with the black on black, but personally not my choice of wheels...nice stance though!

yeah porsches have always had huge read tires compared to the front Roger. My friends dad's stock 911 has 9's in the front and 12's in the back. thats just how porsches are. regardless, this car is TOO sick.
