There hasn’t been a Odyssey post for a few weeks now, so why not put these up, right? Daishi Sakamoto sent us a few photos of a recent Honda Odyssey event that brought out 100′s of vans and spectators. The Wagonist magazine photographers also came out to cover the event and shoot a couple of cars individually. You can see their photographer doing work in the photos below. With that said, we would love to hear what your favorite “style” is in the Japanese car modding scene. VIP? Drift? Vans? Boso? Let us know in the commment box below please. It’s about 100 degrees here in California and we gotta get out of this office for the day! We wish you all a happy & safe July 4th by the way!

Shakotan style ftw?
Gets me more fired up on my Odyssey. Great pics
I like vans when theyre done like this. id love to roll in something like these for a daily. favorite scene would be a mix of two, VIP and drift. when done right it looks tight.
What rims are on the purple ride? I really need to know.
^ i meant the maroon red one not the light purple lol
the van scence is getting bigger, honda dominates all vehicle aspects lol.. Now can we see some other vans?
i really dig the first van. Because the wheels are pretty much perfect. Not too over the top, but still insane lip.
Hmmm, my favorite Japanese scene would be a toss up between vans and USDM. I love to see the way they interpret us interpreting them.
loving these Odysseys, how many times we wish they have them here in the U.S.?
Anyone else notice the Chevy with the racing stripes and Japanese tags on the ground in the background of the 1st pic?
@ryan I think it is wwork gnosis GS4
the vanning scene is fucking awesome… why dont we get those here :(
