It’s honestly really hard to describe what it’s like seeing Dat’s car, says our newest photographer Rob Ghaderi. At times it’s the same feeling you had when you were just a kid drooling on your moms car window at a sight of a flashy sports car. What it really is obviously is a Lexus IS350. Not just any IS350 however as this particular one is put together extremely well and screams for attention. It’s got the kind of presence that is desired by many. Aggressive, yet classy. It’s safe to assume that most of you are curious about what he has done to it, so why don’t we get right into that!

First and foremost, those wheels! Pretty sure that everyone knows they are Volk TE37’s though these were powder coated “Spy Yellow“. 19×8.5 in the front with +22 offset and 215/35/19 tires while in the rear it’s got 19×10.5’s with +22 offset and 265/30/19 tires! Even the lug nuts are Volk Formula to compliment the wheels. Another thing that we liked so much about Dat’s car was the fact that it’s so typical, yet so unique. TE37’s on IS’s are nothing new, but by spicing things up a bit with that yellow, it is able to stand out from all other IS’. Dat also dropped the car just enough to tuck some of the tires on a set of Megan LP coilovers and an F-Sport rear sway bar. Job well done, nothing else to say!

The exterior just needed a bit of touching up to compliment the “aggressive” styling of the wheels. Dat opted for smaller stuff such as the Fabolous carbon fiber lip in the front and things like a custom roof spoiler, OEM trunk spoiler and Fabolous rear add on. Under the hood Dat added a Joe Z intake, HKS hybrid filter and lastly, HKS Hi-Power exhaust as you can see in the photo below. We can’t stress enough how much we believe in the “less is more” saying. Long list of mods are definitely nice to see, but it’s not a must in order to have a “well built” car. Hit the Read More button below for more.
