The first part of our K Day!! photo coverage can be seen by clicking this link. As we mentioned last time, k day is an event held in Japan which features a ton of USDM inspired cars, specifically Hondas. We wouldn’t go as far as saying that the Japanese do USDM better then us (like some like to believe) but they definitely know what they’re doing. It’s honestly a bit disappointing that part of our scene consists of roof racks, replica wheels and sticker bombed lips, but that’s just how it is and the Japanese seem to like it. nice! i dont know what it is, but it seems they do the "cali style/ usdm/jdm," better than we do. every car just seems higher quality then my crap lol

  Japan = VIP/Drift/ US = Sticker bombing/ Roof Racks Nothing "wrong" really, just wish there was something different that made us stand out to other countries.

The orange ej1 (5th gen Civic coupe) is so sick! I think it's the fact that it's not all "show car" looking.. Makes me miss my old ej1. Loving the red Akebono EF9 too.. Awesome footage, amazing cars.

Elvis - ill admit i had a roof rack on my mkv when i lowered it but grew out of it as soon as i sold the car and have never been into the sticker bombing.. its always looked rediculous and always will be. More people need to get into VIP and simple yet clean stanced cars not just cut springs, cambered wheels and a lip thats 6inchs tall and calling their car "slammed, stanced, and hellaflush"

The japanese definitely at the USDM looks better then americans, the one thing ive always found in the japanese car scene is there attention to detail, that makes or breaks a car, that ek9 with the sir lower rear spolier is a great little touch too

Awesome cars. Maybe the people making comments don't pay attention to the honda scene much but I don't see much of a difference between americas quality and japans. I think both scenes are equal in quality. Maybe we have a larger scene so quality varies. I'm not hating on japan, I'm hating on people sayin japan does our style better.
