Slammed & Fitted // Scale Model

Our friend Syo is just like many of us in this “stance” scene. His cars sit low to the ground and are fitted with some ridiculously aggressive wheels. The only difference between many of us an Syo is that he does things on a much smaller scale. While it may not anything new we always get a kick of just how well our Japanese friends do it. This particular DC2 seems to be inspired by the well known “1320 DC3″ out of NorCal it appears. You can check that out by clicking here. Hit the Read More button below for some more photos. Oh, and yes, we did just throw a freaking toy on our site and you know you love it!

I prefer this over a real Integra.

You can't buy one of these out the box like this, he made it from a regular integra plastic model. i remember looking at his minkara where he used the rims from a motorcycle model (i believe) to widen the rims on this car. And of course they all use putty to do bodywork and create one off pieces and such, it's pretty sick. Elvis, you should post up his minkara because he has so many sick builds like this.

for everyone asking where to buy... ebay is your best bet. i have ordered at least 10 models in the past. Alot of things are pretty custom on this model.

This model is made from Fujimi's Honda Integra Type-R.

Here are a few good places to start: http://www.hlj.com/product/FUJ03821 http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-24-FUJIMI-HONDA-DC2-INTEGRA-TYPER-/260687621406?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cb2316d1e http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-24-FUJIMI-03395-HODNDA-INTEGRA-TYPE-R-1995-MODEL-KIT-/280721840914?pt=AU_Toys_Hobbies_Model_Kits&hash=item415c535b12 That body kit on this car looks to be kit option parts..dunno which kit they are from though. The Mugen kit above has a bumper "overlay" that needs to be fitted but cutting it and the kit bumper for proper appearance. The wheels on the above model are Mugen wheels from an Aoshima (another model company like Fujimi) Honda model and are pretty much unobtanium unless you know someone who is casting them in resin(which I don't know) . The deep lip is probably also from a set of Aoshima rims. Other than a major amount of work to slam it, it's an easily duplicated model other than the wheels..

Check out your local hobby shop if you have one, you will save a lot of time not messing around on line.
