Three words: simple, static, sexy. In a nutshell, those three words can describe Brandon Burke’s RB25 Series2 powered 1991 Nissan 240sx. Born and raised in Lancaster, CA, Brandon was only minutes from Willow Springs Raceway and visiting the track all the time encouraged him to mod cars. When Brandon first got in to modding cars, he started off, like most of us all have, a Honda. He’s had an SCCA Miata, a single turbo MkIV Supra, and a few other Hondas. This isn’t his first S13 though. He has had a couple others ranging from a stanced and fitted wide-body coupe to a fully functional drift rocket. He came across a deal he couldn’t pass up on this latest coupe and decided to take his time on it.

Photos By: John Markley & Gus Rivera exclusively for StanceNation.com

Brandon spoke on his goal for the car; “I wanted to blow my own mind with how low it is. I wanted it to be controversial. Hearing people complain about how it’s too low, it scrapes too much and that it was pointless to have the power of an RB motor and not be able to use it is what I wanted to hear. I love the fact that I leave pieces of oil pan, transmission, and frame scattered all around LA County.” Three months in the making, this is how far his latest project has come. Now on to the good stuff!

When Brandon picked up the car, it had the obvious 20 years of use and abuse on the paint and some minor dings and dents. Immediately he stripped everything off the car and went to work! While he was fixing all the dings and blemishes in the body, Brandon decided to shave the windshield spray nozzles, the trunk key-lock, and the rear side markers. A little bit of work was put in to the quarter panels as well to make sure those SSRs fit right. He added a Silvia conversion with Circuit Sport clear headlight covers and JDM amber/clear bumper lights. When all that work was finished, he sprayed the car 51e Subaru Aspen White. To add some contrast to the white, he added some matte black OEM mud flaps, OEM window visors and a matte black JDM OEM USDM EDM Accord front lip. Click the Read More button below to take a look at some more photos and specs of this beauty!

Brandon kept the interior rather simple with a Signal Auto bucket with a Nagisa seat rail, R32 GTR passenger seat, DMax floor mats, Yashio shift boot, Nismo shift knob, NRG quick release steering hub, a Nardi Classic Steering wheel and an Autometer boost gauge.

Under the hood is a Series 2 RB25 installed with a Syko mount kit, Greddy intake manifold, Apexi intake, McKinney FMIC and piping, Q45 throttle body, ATP manual boost controller Power FC, Walbro 255 fuel pump, and a custom 2.5 inch exhaust with a 12 inch resonator. He installed a Spec Stage 3 clutch, Driveshaft shop 1 piece driveshaft, and an R32 GTR VLSD to harness the RB power.

To bring all this together and dump the car to the ground, Brandon installed a set of Fortune Auto 500 series coilovers, Fortune Auto toe-rods, Megan tension rods, tie-rod ends, rear upper control arms, and traction rods. The combo allowed for his SSR Professor SP1s to fit beautifully. Specs on the wheels and tires are 17×9 -1 up front and a 17×9.5 -8 wrapped in 205/40 17 and 215/40 17 Federal 595s.

Brandon isn’t quite sure what his future plans are. He fell in love with it the first time he rolled it out of the garage after all this work was done, so we’ll see what the future holds. We can be sure that whatever it is, it will be just as thought out and amazing as what we see here! We hope you enjoyed the photos and make sure you email us at snfeatures@gmail.com if you think your ride has what it takes to be on our site!

Brandon wanted to give a huge shout out to Tony Crispin who did all the body prep work and his fellow friends/photographer John Markley and Gus Rivera! Hope you enjoy this last shot!

Wow, one of the best S13's I've ever seen in my life. And some of the best shots I've seen in a while! Amazing job, on both of their parts.

3 Months in the making felt like a life time seeing this car getting peiced together day after day. The one day it finally rolled out of the garage complete was simply breathtaking. Glad I've laid a hand in helping build this thing. Is is by far one of my fave 240's around. Props for building an amazing car Brandon

SHOW SOME ENGINE PICS! Jesus christ! All these "beautiful" cars but stance nation can't appreciate what REALLY matters. Your cars looks are equally as important as how the car PERFORMES! Engine pics and appreciation or GTFO! No engine pics, ever. Shits getting WACK! Now watch how many douche bags get BUTT HURT over this comment. Ha! Cars that are specifically BUILT by the companies for performance, and its only cool to slam it so hard that if you hit the throttle and want a taste of power your gonna squat and bottom out and scrape. How fucking cool guys. Honda, Nissan, Subaru, Mitsubishi, any company's engineers shake their heads at this bullshit. FUNCTION = FORM! Fuck that, FUNCTION > FORM! Keep the spirit of these cars REAL and do what their made to do and be DRIVEN. Not "driven" meaning to the grocery store puckering your asshole everytime you see a pebble in the road. Call it "dedication" or "balls", ha nice cover ups for STUPIDITY. OVER this stance bullshit.

I only approved your comment so we can all laugh out loud at your ignorance. Coming to "stance" website to talk down on "stance". Very wise.

I absolutely love everything except for the rear wheel tuck. For whatever reason i just never particularly cared for the rear wheel tuck on S13s. I like them slammed to the rim, but as soon as the lip pass under the fender i lose interest. But other than that, this car is brilliant!

STANCENATION, Y U NO HAS ENGINE PICS?!?!?!?! lol. for real though, i love this car in everyway. props to the owner for having the balls to go that low. not a fan of rim tuck myself because, why hide sweet wheels in the wheel well and ruin tires with all that camber you know? but hey, to each his own. Nissan love <3

Nick, the engine bay was overlooked due to some minor imperfections at the time of the shoot. There will be a shot of the bay uploaded soon.
