Continuing from where we stopped a few days ago, today we’ll be showing you rest of the photos of our photographer’s Shota-sans trip to 84 Base Motor Works. One of the cars that 84 Base crew was working on that day was this beautiful white MK1. Shota-San was kind enough to take quite a few shots of it for us including the clean bay. 84 Base does more than just aesthetics, they’ve actually built quite a few quick rides including a matte green MK2 which you can see by clicking the Read More button below. Big thanks to Shota-San & everyone at 84 Base! Stay tuned for plenty more Japanese rides and shops!

great shop
Japan does everything better than everyone else!
So many questions about that 16v!! Like, is that a single piece intake manifold? And how did they get that single plate throttlebody on there?!
Wow!!! Such clean cars! The 16v looks like they welded the two halves of the intake manifold together but I don’t see a throttle body!?!? Maybe they hid ITB’s at the base of the manifold? Either way, it looks super cool, excellent work.
