It’s always so inspiring showcasing builds such as this one. What started off as literally a huge piece of outdated metal turned into one of the cleanest all around rides that we have ever featured before. Hell, we would go as far as saying that it’s one of the cleanest Rabbit’s we’ve ever laid our eyes on! It could be because it obviously does look amazing or perhaps it’s because of seeing just how far it has come since Joe started the build. Whatever it is, it is a real honor to share this beautiful MK1 Rabbit with you. You are in for a huge surprise if you think a extremely clean exterior and proper stance is all that this thing has going for it! Scroll down for more!

When Joe first started the project it was literally a blank canvas. Even though the car had an extremely faded Mars Red paint (if you even want to call it paint!) it’s shell was in a good shape, 100% rust free and super solid. Right away Joe knew that he wanted to go low and wide so he started with a hammer pulling arches out as much as possible. Yes, pretty much all of the body work ended up being done in Joe’s garage. All by himself and a few very close friends. In all honesty, garage builds are some of our favorites especially when done right…

Lots of blood, sweat, and tears went into this build. The exterior was one of the main focuses of course and Joe did a complete single circle conversion (headlights) as well as a small tail conversion for starters. Other things that the car is currently sporting consist of things like chrome euro bumpers, chrome flag mirrors and handles and of course shaved side markers. When everything was done it was time to get the car painted. The paint was done in a state of the art paint booth and it comes from the latest variant of the Audi R8 brilliant red.

Joe also spent quite some time figuring out the perfect set of wheels for his Rabbit, eventually going with BBS RMS, powdercoated white. Fitment is 15×9 and 15×8 and it sits on old school VW bags that are accompanied by Accuair E-Level Management. Aired out all the way puts the fenders right on top of the tire with absolutely no clearance. Don’t even get us started on how much we love that slight poke all around! Well done, very well done.

Joe had the car about 8 years though just recently did he start putting in work. It was always a little bit here and there but he decided to get things done. A ton of late nights & weekends were dedicated to build the car the way it is now. Joe tells is that this is exactly what he would want his rabbit to look like from the dealer. Small car, big engine. Oh about the engine, we almost forgot. You’re looking at a 24V, 5 speed VR6 engine placed in a beautifully tucked & shaved bay! Plenty of power and style right here! Just amazing, that’s all we can say.

The interior features a cabby dash, fresh pair of Recaro Trophys as well as a Scirocco steering wheel. Joe took the more simple and clean route with the interior and it looks damn good. To be honest with you, we wouldn’t be surprised if we saw this car on the cover of your favorite Euro magazine. Again though, what makes it that much better is the fact that it was all built by Joe and his buddies.

Since the car was finished few months ago, it has collected several trophys in all different categories. The attention to detail and quality are up there with the best. We will leave you with more awesome photos below.

No matter how many S-Chassis cars we post we never get tired of them. They may not be everyones cup of tea but there is no denying that they look down right killer with proper stance, especially S14′s. This particular Nissan belongs to Daniel Harding out of southern California. He previously owned a ’97 Prelude but soon enough he got the urge to move to a RWD platform, which is where his Nissan came into picture. The car was in pretty bad condition when Daniel first purchased it. We are talking beat up primered car with a “terrible” body kit here. That’s where the modding begin.

One of the first things that Daniel did was he re,over the old kit and replaced it with a full Origin kit, followed by a fresh coat of paint. He also put in a simple T25 turbo setup (tuned by enthalpy), but had many difficulties after he dented his oil pan and blew the motor. He also had issues with “certain” mechanics and eventually had the motor rebuilt by Andrew Molina from Garage Boso. He did great work and Daniels car was on the road again with a new T28 turbo setup! Daniel was able to get all of this done before he started college. Unfortunately after driving the car for just about a week and finally breaking in the new motor and clutch, he was hit by a truck in the passenger quarter panel. This as you can imagine set Daniel back and he had to rethink not only what he wanted to do with the car but his finances as well.

Fortunately after a few months Daniel decided it was time to come back and do everything even better than the first time! His first move was going wider, as in wide body. Countless hours were spent on bodywork, especially when it came time to start modding the front fender vents closed and molding the rear quarter panel. Daniel was able to track down a damaged Vertex Lang front bumper that with some work was back in great shape. Obviously it all started with a Kouki conversion and slowly worked it’s way to those custom 20mm front fenders, vertex front bumper and VIS CF hood w/Aerocatch Hood Pins. Up front youll also notice clear turn signals and and as you work your way around the car you’ll see that Daniel added Origin Stylish sideskirts, custom molded 30mm rear overfenders and a Origin rep. rear bumper.

After the aero was done it was time to move on to wheels, tires and suspension. Daniel decided to go with Varrstoens. He tells us that most people dont run 19′s but he decided that he would bite the bullet and try it out which he eventually ended up liking and keeping. For those who like to know the exact specs of the car, you’re looking at Varrstoen 1.1.2 sized at 19×10.5 up front with an offset of 12 and 19×11 in the rear with the final offset being 15. Daniel is running Greddy Type S Coilovers along with Megan Toe Arms and Megan RUCAS as well as 5 Lug Conversion and lastly a Nissan OEM Strut Bar.

Seriously awesome fitment right here. Molding those custom rear overfenders was a great idea because judging by the photo below he can run an even more aggressive setup in the future if he feels like it. Possibilities are endless, we love the way Daniel thought things out. Downsizing to 18′s would literally put the car on the ground.

Other small things that Daniel changed out is the JDM trunk (no 3rd brake light), Origin Carbon Fiber Trunk Spoiler and Kouki Taillights. He also ended up relocating L.E.D. 3rd Brake Light for that extra touch. You can check out an awesome rear end shot on the bottom of the page so scroll on down…

He got the car resprayed and finally back on the road after almost a year of being out of service. Trying to do all this work on a minimum wage job with school isn’t an easy task but Daniel somehow pulled it off. He even got the engine and all his turbo kinks running right! Being in SoCal, he wanted to make the engine bay look as stock as possible so he ended up getting a custom KA/SR hybrid manifold made by Alex Gower from NorCal, and using SR components to make it look stealth as possible. All the Cali guys will know what we’re talking about…

The car was never dyno’d and is only running on stock wastegate boost which is set at 7psi, but it should be roughly at 230WHP. That is plenty for Daniel as the car is not a race car, rather a daily driver that breaks necks everywhere it goes!

Which brings us but to the current stage. You won’t be happy to hear that just a few days after these photos were taken Daniel sold the car! He told us that he was selling it because he has plans on getting a nice daily Lexus LS400 VIP project, as well as another s-chassis to build on his free time but we didn’t think it was going to be this fast.

We can’t even begin to tell you how excited we are to share this awesome S2000 with you! It belongs to our friend Jake Gruny who is representing the city of San Diego to the fullest. With so many S2000′s out there it’s literally gotten to a point where many of them are starting to look very much alike. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but we all know the importance of having a car that stands out from others. Jake definitely did a great job in that department by taking a little bit of that influence from both the “function” as well as the “form” crowd. Our friend Gabriel recently met up with Jake who managed to get some superb shots for us. Let’s take a look at few of them…

Alright, so let’s start with the exterior. First up we have a ASM Hood up front along with ASM front fenders and the ASM duckbill spoiler. Yes, Jake has a thing for ASM as you can tell. He also gutted the soft top and replaced it with one from Mugen. Some of the sexiest S2K’s out there are the rocking Mugen hardtops. Front bumper, which seems to be a love/hate thing with most people is made by Spoon. Jake wanted to bring the body a bit closer to the ground so he added Shine side diffusers which not only look awesome but also sit just a couple of inches off the ground. Obviously though the urge to sit low didn’t just stop there…

As a matter of fact, not only did Jake want to sit lower but he also wanted his wheels to sit pretty flush with the fenders. For that he turned to Tein Monoflex coilovers which brought the car down quite a bit. His wheels choice didn’t disappoint either. A fresh set of Volk CE28′s sitting at 17×9.5 with an offset of 28 all around. Jake had the wheels powder coated to color match the Red that Volk released on their Volk TE37SL’s and they look damn good. Lastly, he is running a set of 215/40/17 tires. It may not be the lowest S2K out there or even running the most aggressive wheels but it’s definitely a head turner that deserves to be seen.

Jake drives his car every chance that he gets. Under the hood you’ll find things like Mugen Intake, ASM cooling plate & ARC heat shield. For that extra “oopmh” he added the legendaey HKS 75mm exhaust system which sounds great! Do a quick YouTube search if you don’t believe us…

We asked Jake to tell us a little bit about what the future of this car may look like and here is what he said. “I tend to switch out the wheels constantly but I’m going to try and keep these for awhile. If I keep them I’d like to put a little bit bigger of a tire on there, maybe 235/40/17. My dream wheels for this car have been TE37′s in the sizes 18×9.5 with an offset of +22, and that would be the only wheel I’d switch too.“

He also said the following. “I used to have two ASM bumpers before my Spoon front end and when my car is “done” I might switch back to an ASM bumper with carbon fiber lip like I used to have just to complete the ASM theme. Also, I used to have a Spoon rear diffuser but it ripped off from being so low. I would like to pick up another diffuser someday. Other than that the only other things I might do in the future is get a J’s racing or Voltex wing. I owned my first S2000 for a little over a year but then sold it and picked this one up about 15 months ago.” He clearly loves S2K’s!

Interior is pretty much stock at the moment but it get’s the job done. Mugen Shift knob and those sexy Red Recaro Pole Position Racing seats complete the interior. Check out some more photos below.

It’s certainly been a long time since we had a wagon up on StanceNation! We’re very excited about this particular Passat though because last time we saw it in person it looked nothing like this. This beautiful “Geek Wagon” belongs to our friend Jason out of SoCal. Yes, he is also part of Low N Slow crew and has been for a very long time now. Variety is always good and we’re glad the LNS crew agrees with us by not being biased towards specific makes or models. As long as you have the right attitude, passion and of course fitment, Low N Slow will hear you out. Jason’s ride is a prime example why we will always have a thing for wagons. Let’s take a look at some specs shall we?

In just a few years Jason has racked up over 256,000 miles on his Passat. Under the hood you’ll find a Neuspeed K04 turbo and downpipe accompanied by Neuspeed software which was modified by Torque Factory and a Neuspeed stainless exhaust w/ Magnaflow muffler. Didn’t expect that did you? Jason is also running a B5.5 air box with K&N air filter, a 225hp Audi TT fuel injectors and last but not least Forge recirc valve. Now we don’t know about you but this definitely sounds like it would be a blast to drive. We’re also diggin’ the way this family hauler sits..

When it came time for “stance & fitment” Jason went with KW variant 1 coil overs. The wheels are of course MAE mono blocks and are sized at 18×8.5 on all four corners with offsets of 22 up front and 17 in the rear. For the tires, Jason went with 215/35/18 on all four corners as well. Jason’s ride is also a fine example of it not always being about running the widest wheels, lowest offsets or biggest stretch on your tires. You can easily have a great looking wheel fitment as long as you know the basics of your car and of course the wheels and their specifications. Jason dexided to raise the entire transmission about 1/2 inch for clearance reasons and he also added a Thor skid plate for some extra protection. Behind those sexy MAE’s sit Audi A8 front brakes which Jason upgraded to recently.

Focus your attention to the exterior and you’ll notice many subtle changes. First and foremost is the discontinued (rare!) Oettinger front spoiler. It is accompanied by Bonrath badgeless front grill and OEM euro xenon projector headlights. Move to the side of the car and you’ll spot another pair of rare and discontinued items, the Projektzwo mirrors. Jason spent a lot of his time upgrading what most of us would overlook such as the B5.5 rear tail lights and that custom rear badge. But those who know Passat Wagons will know and appreciate every little thing on this car very much! The addition of JMS roof wing and a Honda s2k antenna were a nice touch but one of the things that transformed the car the most must be the color matching all of the lower body panels.

Absolutely love the way this wagon sits. Check out the photos below to see what we’re talking about. Major kudos to Jason for building such a clean ride. It is truly an honor having it on our site.

When was the last time you saw one of these Toyota Celicas? Let alone sitting as nice as this particular one is. This old school gem belongs to Jesse who as you may have guessed by now is also part of the Low N Slow Crew. Not only does it sport that mean “posture” but it’s actually got quite a little surprise under the hood as well.

Jesse did most, if not all of the work right in his backyard. A complete 1JZ swap with a R154 transmission and a single 66mm turbo. The motor and transmission mounts are all custom as well the intercooler and radiator. Jesse is currently running an open down pipe, no muffler needed! We have a ton of respect for guys like Jesse and we’re sure Low N Slow is proud to have him on the team!

Suspension wise it’s sitting on Ground control front coilovers and Nissan S13 rear coilovers. Jesse is also running a MK2 supra rear sub frame swap. The choice of wheels is just awesome if you ask us. These custom Epsilons sit at 15×9.5 up front with an offset of -35 while the rears sit at 15×10 with an even more aggressive offset of -40! Let’s hope we see more of these older Celica GTS’, they’re such awesome looking cars.

For those who are new to the site or you just don’t visit often, the last few days we’ve been showing cars from our good friends who go by the name Low N Slow. Today we’ll be taking a look at a couple more cars, one being a Lexus SC300 and other being a Lexus GS300. First up let’s take a look at Wilmer’s white SC. One of the most overlooked cars in the states in our opinion but that’s besides the point. As we learn more about these guys and their crew we also notice that they’re all about unity & dedication. Your over the top list of mods may impress judges and public, but definitely won’t play much of a role if you ever decide you want to be a part of crew such as this one.

It’s true that the SC300′s are showing its age but it’s also hard to believe that the car you’re looking at is 19 years old! Yes, Wilmer’s ride is a ’93! One of the bigger things Wilmer did to his car was an upgrade of the body to the ’97 model. Relatively stock looking car overall but extremely clean. That “Starfire” pearl white paint definitely does the car justice.

When it came time to add some proper wheels, Wilmer’s choice was a set of classy Weds Kranze Bazreias. Literally a timeless design that works so well on SC’s. They’ve got that “luxury” look to them while the big lip & bolts have the “sporty” look. Up front Wilmer is running 18×9.5 with an offset of -7 and even wider rear which sits at 18×11 with an offset of -1. They are wrapped in 215/35/18 tire up front and 235/40/18 in the rear.

As you can tell the car definitely gets it’s inspiration from the VIP crowd. Wilmer is proudly rocking that FUSA as well as his crews banner, Low N Slow. Also added to the interior is a wood grain steering wheel for that extra “touch”.

Small things make a huge difference at times, so Wilmer also went ahead and added some color matched window visors to his ride as well as a color matched HIC rear roof visor. Definitely a great addition if you ask us.

Last but not least the car is dropped on it’s belly with a set of Megan coilovers. Favorite angle of this car for us is the side show (Which an be seen below). We were a little bit hesitant on the front rake but the more we see it the more we love it. Scroll down to check out a few more photos of Wilmer’s & Chris’ rides.

That brings us to another Low N Slow members ride, Chris Davidson’s ’93 Lexus GS300. It may easily be one of the most simple cars we’ve ever featured on our site but there is no denying that it looks great! It’s actually one of only one or two other 1GS’ we’ve ever had on the site so it’s always an honor showcasing the “not so common” cars.

Chris sits slammed on D2 coilovers and a set of yet another Weds.Their full name is Weds Kranze Cerberus II’s actually. Front setup is 19×8.5 with an offset of +6 while the rear sits at 19×10 with an offset of -4. All four wheels are wrapped in Falken FK tires, 215/35 up front and 235/35. We’re diggin’ this car a lot!

First and foremost we apologize for the lack of posts. Last couple of days we’ve been switching our servers over and weren’t able to add any new content on. We now have about a dozen cars to feature so be on the lookout for that. With all that said, let’s continue checking out more of Low N Slow cars, what do you say? Today we’re looking at Von Torres’ white G37 and Ryan Arra Arya’s black G37. Both Von and Ryan have been a part of Low N Slow for quite some time and it’s safe to say that they’ve paved the road for many other G37  Coupe owners. First up we’ll be taking a look at Ryan’s black G. You can never go wrong with proper fitment and a touch of concaveness..

Starting on the outside Ryan went ahead and upgraded all the bumpers. Actually, the kit he is running is the AIT Racing S-Tech Style and it looks as aggressive as they get for these cars. We’re not sure how he manages to keep the kit in such a good shape especially for being as low as he is, but he does. Major kudos.

One of the things we love the most about this particular G is the rear trunk. We’ve always had a thing for the HikkataDori trunk ever whether they’re on a G35 or G37 , so big up’s to HikkataDori guys for making such a great looking product. We’ve got an even better picture of the rear end for you if you scroll down some more…

For those who aren’t familiar with the wheels by now, they’re made by Vossen and go by the name of CV1. Sure, they may be pretty common on these cars but there is no denying that they look great. Fronts are sitting at 20×9 while the rears are at 20×10.5. Ryan finally slammed the car on BC Racing coilovers. Final look is just awesome that we’re sure breaks many necks. Apparently Ryan is already sitting lower since these photos were taken, much lower actually. Perhaps it’s time to go 10.5 all around or even something completely different and more aggressive?

And now it’s time for Von and his gorgeous coupe to shine! One of the cleanest G Coupes in our opinion..

Simplicity goes a long way. Starting with the exterior, Von decided to change out the stock bumpers with a set that’s a tad more on the “sharp” side. The front bumper and side skirts are Aero IPL bumpers. For those who aren’t familiar with IPL, it is basically what the “M” of BMW and “AMG” of Mercedes Benz is for the Infiniti. A performance line with slightly different bumper design and other small features. As far as we know IPL’s are pretty rare.

Carbon Fiber mirrors were also added. Small touch that many of you would have overlooked had we not pointed it out.

We unfortunately didn’t get any backstory as to what that small hit is on the front fender but it could very well be from the wheel hitting it. By the way, more on that Silver G35 in the back in a couple of days…

One of our all time favorite wheels are these beautiful Work VS-XX’s that Von is running. They are finished in a clean Burning Black look and sit 20×9.5 up front & 20×10.5 in the rear. Offsets are -5 & +10 while the tires are 225/35/20 up front and 245/35/20 in the rear. Perfectly flush fitment is where it’s at for this ride. In order to achieve that fitment Von had to work with BC Racing coilovers, SPC Camber kit and of course some fender rolling and slight pulling.

In the back, Von is running a carbon fiber diffuser made by Autokits and a custom sports rear deck spoiler which was definitely nice little touch. Representing Low N Slow to the fullest with that huge banner!

Here is a car that we’ve been meaning to shoot for the last few months but never got around to doing it until a couple of weeks ago. Our photographer Jon Tran met up with Squire (350Z owner) and Omid (S14 owner) early in the morning to get some awesome shots by the beach, and he certainly did. What do you say we first take a look at a few photos of Squire’s than we’ll move on to Omid’s ride? One of the things that attracted us the most about this Z is obviously the way it sits. But don’t get it confused, that isn’t just any ordinary drop & wheels “posture” the Z is rocking, there is something quite special about it. Body work. Clean, wide, and just right. Let’s take a closer look shall we?

Because Squire is running such aggressive wheel setup he had to do some work to the body to make them fit the way they do. Now we don’t mean to “over exaggerate” anything but let’s just say that the aggressive fender widening took more work than your standard roll & pull. Not only that, but we really love the fact that the original body lines are kept intact. We’ve seen plenty of fenders and Z’s in our times, and this is definitely one of the better “jobs”.

The wheels don’t appear to be as wide in the photos above as they really are, right? Actually, another one of the things we absolutely love about this car are it’s wheels. Weds Kranze Vishunu happen to be one of our favorite wheels of all time and they look so damn good on this Z. Anyway, ready for some sizes? Well, fronts are sitting at 19×10 with a ridiculous offset of -43 while the rears are even crazier at 19×11.5 with an offset of -37! Now that’s aggressive!

Besides the fender work, most of the exterior is kept pretty stock besides that Veilside carbon fiber front lip. Then again, completely kitted out Z’s tend to look a bit tacky and overdone in most cases so a front lip alone was just enough in our opinion. Check out the way that rear end squats in the photo below! Seriously awesome stuff if you ask us.

Hidden behind the Weds Kranze Vishunu’s is the Akebono Big Brake Kit and hidden inside the cabin is a barely noticeable Cusco 4 point Cage. The car sits on true Stance Coilovers and while the car doesn’t really get driven hard (hence the crew name) Squire also added Stillen sways to keep the body lean minimal. Apparently the car will sit even lower in the near future but we’ll keep the specifics on the low for now.

With that said, let’s take a look at Omid’s legit 240SX. Legit as in “true” ’97 Kouki that is. Again, nothing too wild as far as appearance looks but it’s guaranteed to grab attention whether it’s driving down the street or hanging out at the local meets. There is just something about the S14′s that screams “LOOK AT ME!!!”. Adding a flashy set of wheels and lowering slamming the car is literally adding fuel to the fire. Check out the photo below to see what we mean.

The exterior features a J Spec front bumper along with a new JDM rear bumper. The OEM side skirts look just right so Omid didn’t bother touching them. However, he did change up the stock hood for JDM one and in the rear (as seen in the photo below) he added a roof wing which was a very nice touch in our opinion. What do you think?

Omid played around a little bit with some “function” oriented mods such as ExedyStage 1 clutch and a R33 differential. He also added a Mass Angle Steering Kit and an exhaust that he found on Ebay which he seems to like. Interior is pretty clean looking with practically nothing upgraded besides the Nismo Shift Knob.

Suspension wise Omid is running Stance GR+ coilovers along with SPC Tie Rods. It may not be the lowest S14 out there by any means but the overall presence of it looks incredible we gotta say. Big ups to Omid!

We’re finally down to what you all waited for. Wheels specs. Wheels are obviously (custom finish) Work VS-MX’s and they sit at 18×10 in the front with an offset of -7 and a pretty aggressive 18×11 with an offset of 5. Behind them Omid is rocking custom drilled and slotted rotors and to finish things off he went with a set of Project Kics lug nuts.

We know what most of you are thinking. “This must be somewhere in the US! I mean look at all the Cali plates & USDM stickers!”, right? However this is actually far from US. How far you ask? Hmm, how about Japan? For those who aren’t familiar with USDM Jam male sure you check out last years coverages here, but it’s basically a gathering of USDM style inspired cars which happens every year. This year around about 780 cars showed up and there were well over 50 different companies/vendors in attendance. There is no doubt that E46 M3 is one of our favorite cars out there. Now, it’s obvious that not everyone is a fan of them but our friend and owner of this particular car (Navith) definitely is. In his late teens Navith even considered it his dream car. A dream car he was determined to own some day that is. But that wasn’t easy considering Navith was a full time college student who already had enough bills. Fortunately though after getting a good job and saving he was able to get his hands on a stock bone 2005 BMW M3 out of San Diego. As with most car enthusiasts nowadays, Navith wasn’t able to keep the car looking stock for long so within the very first week of owning this beautiful BMW he found himself spending money on aftermarket modifications. We’ll get more into that later but let’s take a look at these awesome photos & video shot by our photographer Jon Tran and Jared Bedrejo from UMWorks!

Within the very first week of purchase Navith bit the mod bug and bought “angel eyes” for the headlights of course, coilovers and a fresh set of wheels. The coilovers were made by BC Racing while the wheels were Varrstoen at that time. After some time it was time to upgrade to something more aggressive so Navith made a decision to upgrade to CCW Classics. They are 18×10 up front wrapped in 245/35/18 tires and 18×12 in the rear wrapped in 285/30/18 tires.

After tweaking the fenders and maxing out his BC Racing coilovers he added the aggressive looking Iconz front lip and a CSL style boot lid to the car. The look that Navith achieved with minimal modifications is just stunning, don’t you guys agree? It may not be doing anything that hasn’t already been done but that doesn’t mean a thing to us honestly. If something look good, we praise it, and this M3 looks really good!

So what does the future hold you ask? Well, it is his daily driver and he doesn’t plan on spending any more money on it, he tells us. It’s quick enough for daily driving and supercharging it or doing anything to make it go faster isn’t really worth it to someone like Navith. Since these photos & video was shot Navith did sell his wheels though in order to buy a motorcycle. He plans on eventually upgrading to an E92 M3 or even E60 M5. We’ll have to wait and see!

One of the things we take the most pride in here on StanceNation is bringing you a closer look at events and cars all around the world. During this month alone we went from California out to Hawaii and from Guam out to Japan. Today however we are taking you all the way to China! iAcrophobia. Better get used to seeing more of that name in the future. Previously going under the name of VWFashion, the iAcrophobia guys are back and better than ever. Just a few days ago they held their very first event of the year and judging by the videos and photos we saw around the net it was a huge success. Thankfully we were able to get a few photos sent to us. Big ups to the iAcro guys, we’re looking forward on working with you more in the near future!

It never ceases to amaze us how we like to imitate the Japanese while the Japanese like to imitate us. Meet Hiro, a huge USDM fan. Specifically, he loves where our “stance scene” is going. We recently approached Hiro about a possible feature on our site to which he thankfully showed interest in. You’ll have to excuse us for the lack of specific details about Hiro and his car due to the language barrier but pictures speak louder than words after all, right? Despite the Infiniti badging what you’re actually looking at is a genuine RHD Nissan Skyline CKV36. For those who haven’t figured it out by now, Hiro actually resides in Japan. Let’s take a closer look at his simple yet aggressive ride!

We’re so used to seeing Japanese push limits and set trends all the time overlooking the simpler cars is an easy thing to do, but that won’t happen today. According to Hiro, he is running a Access Evolution front lip on a sport bumper up front. in the rear he is running the famous Autokits-X carbon fiber diffuser. To finish off the rear end he decided to go with a processed Power Craft Hybrid exhaust system. This is seriously one of the sexiest rear ends we’ve seen in a long time. Smooth, clean, wide, perfect! What do you think?

So why don’t we see what Hiro is running under the hood. They’re actually all pretty simple mods but definitely worth mentioning. This Skyline is running a HKS super power flow kit along with a Maxim Works exhaust manifold originally made for the Nissan VQ35HR engine. Hiro is also running a one-off catalytic straight pipe and a HKS metal catalyzer. Last but nit least, like we already mentioned above, he is running the Power Craft Hybrid exhaust system originally made for Z34′s.

How about that “stance” though? Looks on point if you ask us, we really love the overall presence of this car. He dropped the car on a set of completely custom XYZ one-off coilovers that he put together including 326 Power 26K front springs up front and Eibach 13K springs in the rear. When it came time for wheels instead of going the “expected/common” route, he chose the Anaheim based wheel company Forgestar. Yes, wheels are Forgestar F14′s and they sit at 19×10 up front with -5 offset and 19×11 in the rear with an even more aggressive -13 offset. He then wrapped the wheels in a set of Pirelli tires sized at 235/35/19 in the front and 265/30/19 in the rear.

One of the things we love the ,pst about this car are those flashy yellow Brembo Calipers. They’re actually 8 pot 356mm rotors to be precise. Hiro also tells us that he is currently planning on upgrading the rear brake setup to match the front. The funny thing is that he has only had the car for 1 full year now and he already has thousands of dollars and lots of hard work in it. We can only imagine what the future holds…

Where do you even begin when you have a car and story behind it such as this? Please allow us to introduce you to Arvin and his beautiful ’93 Mazda RX7. After purchasing a car that started out as a stripped down shell that had to be built back up from scratch, the day these photos were taken was something Arvin looked forward to very much. The car was done and after a long east coast winter it was finally ready for a proper photoshoot, but what ended up happening was something no one expected. You’ll see exactly what we’re talking about below. In the meantime why don’t we tell you a little bit about this beast of an FD that Arvin had built.

As we said before, everything on this car is practically changed especially under the hood. The 13B motor was fully rebuilt with all new internals and the twin turbos were converted to a single turbo. We’ll attach a full spec list on the bottom of the feature so make sure you check it out. The car features everything from new apex seals, side seals, corner seals, oil pump to oil injectors & rotor bearings. Few other things include a complete Pineapple racing close up kit (pineapple racing large street ports, ported and polished, polished lower and upper intake manifolds, greddy custom intake, etc). The car has no AC or power steering, Arvin strictly built the car for speed.

Did you really think it stops there? Arvin is running a Garrett GT35R dual ball bearing turbo with Greddy turbo manifold, tail 44mm waste gate, Greddy front mount intercooler & aluminum 3 inch piping with tail blow off valve. You already know the drivetrain needed some refreshing so Arvin went with a completely rebuilt 13B turbo tranny which includes a Act 6 puck sprung hub clutch with heavy duty pressure plate and a 8lb act flywheel. When it came to exhaust the Apexi N1 full 3 inch exhaust from down pipe backed with 3 inch electric exhaust cut out does the job!

This daily driven beast is setup to run on E-85 fuel and runs on 14lbs od boost on daily basis. It made 505HP on 22lbs with a manaul holmes boost controller. Arvin customized a lot of things to make everything work such as the RE-Amemiya rear diffuser which had to be tweaked in order for the fuel lines to run thru it. It runs on E-85 fuel with 1600cc injectors, (secondary’s and primary’s) KG fuel rails, aeromotive high pressure regulator, -10 fuel lines with fittings welded sump on gas tank with two -10 fittings going out to two -10 lines running into 2 aeromotive fuel filters going into two Bosh 044 in line fuel pumps. Whew, why don’t we move to the exterior..

How about that stance? The car is dropped on Tein super street coilovers and is rocking an aggressive set of Rotas. They are 18×12′s with a 0 offset Rota P45R3S, only available in New Zealand apparently! Those tires are 245/40/18 Hankooks! So what else do we have on the outside? How about the Scoot carbon fiber hood and the RE-Amemiya rear diffuser that we mentioned before? How about the custom RE-Amemiya style headlights with projectors and of course that custom front lip with carbon fiber custom splitters. Let’s not forget the veilside side skirts though and that flashy Tangerine orange paint!

Interior of the car features a Sparco carbon fiber steering wheel, autometer guages on the dash with a custom switch panel for the fans, pump 1 and 2, ignition, and kill switch. Unfortunately we don’t have any photos that show the interior properly but it is one of the things that got damaged the most in what happened below during the shoot…

The car was parked away for winter (since november actually) and Arvin was finally bringing it out for the first time of the year. He dusted the car off and put his new wheels on. He also changed the plugs and oil, grabbed a full tank of E-85 and drove her for the weekend to break her back in. He then decided to do the first photo shoot of her ever for the paint/body shop he is opening soon called STK STREET KINGS, so he called up the hottest photographer he knew, Ronnie C.

Every body wanted to shoot his RX7 but he felt that Ronnie was going to do the car justice so they went to a great location for some random teaser piks before the
sun went down and it was going great, i decided to up photos before the sun went down. He also wanted to do some burnout photos with full boost, waste gate screaming & the whole nine yards but things then took the wrong turn…

While the car was in the middle of doing the burnout, the harness being soo brittle from
the cold weather of the winter just collapsed, heated up and melted. That obviously had the positive & negative touching and sparking a small electrical fire under his secondary fuel rails. Thankfully Arvin noticed the fire on time because the car started breaking up…

Arvin suddenly stopped the car and popped the hood open only to see fire. Before he could do anything the fire burned thru his oil metering lines which spilled oil all over the motor, which eventually ignited with the flame. It then burned thru the injector o rings which made all the pressure of the fuel rails let go and sprayed all over the flame which unfortunately made it impossible to control. That’s even with the car off and everything disconnected of course…

Arvin and his friends tried everything to stop the flames but they just couldnt stop her from burning. They ended up calling the fire department and it was history after that. The engine turbo body and engine harness brunt and it spread to the fender. It also blew the shocks and burnt the master brake and clutch cylinders. All the plug wires and motor mounts melted and it burnt off all the intercooler couplers. It was going to spread into the cabin if it wasn’t for the fire department so big ups to them for everything!

The downside to the fire department coming out and putting the fire out was that they broke his door open, tore thru his dash and literally ripped out his interior. They also broke his windshield. “It was the saddest day” Arvin tells us but he is still very thankful to the fire department…

After we heard the story the first thing we asked was if the car had insurance. Well, let’s just say that he didn’t have everything insured. He says the car will be up and running in no later than a month hopefully, he is just deciding whether to stay with a rotary, go the 2j or LS route. Ronnie (photographer) tells us that Arvin is too attached to the car to simply move on, but in the meantime he is going to be finishing up his FC project that sits in the backyard!

Last year during our trip to the meet and greet we put on in North Carolina with the Insane Stance & Offset guys, one of the cars that caught our eye was this particular Nissan. Ever since that meet we’ve been trying to get the car on our site! It belongs to our friend Rodney Pilson out of Belews Creek, NC and it’s truly his pride & joy. After picking the car up with cracked windshield, torn seats and many other flaws, Rodney decided to clean it up with the help of his friends. While this “build” still isn’t where Rodney wants it to be it is definitely ready for world wide viewing. Our good friend John Soufia caught up with Rodney few days ago and captured some awesome photos.

When Rodney purchased the car from his friend it sat on D2 Coilovers and Rota P45RS wheels. It was also rocking what Rodney calls “stylish body kit” and most of the interior was torn up. Him and his friends George Debidart and Daryl Rinkavage at Exotic Powdercoat & Paint all agreed that the car couldn’t look the same so they got to work. Nowadays the car is looking pretty different though. It’s front fenders and rear quarter panels were pulled about 3 inches to fit the aggressive 18″ Work Bersaglio wheels. They are wrapped in 225/40/18 tires which we feel is a perfect stretch.

The old kit was ripped off and replaced with a fresh new one made by Uras. But, before the kit even went on, there was plenty of body work done to clean the car up. After many coats of paint and clear the car was finally shaping into something Rodney had first pictured. If you ask us, the car is running just the right amount of stretch, camber and low. We’ve seen far too many Silvia’s run overly aggressive setups that are completely unnecessary. This one on the other hand, just right.

So what does the future hold for Rodney’s ride? Well, he tells us that he plans on focusing a but on the performance aspect and rebuilding the KA motor. He will also be rebuilding the entire interior in the near future.

With that said, we would like to give a huge shout out to Rodney and everyone that was associated with building this clean ride. Rodney also wanted us to give a special shout out to the entire Insane Stance & Offset crew as well as Hood Status & Grip Royal. Our photo/video guru Dax Rodriguez and his friend Jimmie Baxter paid a visit to XDC/HIN few days ago and they just put out this awesome video for us to see. This was the return of Hot Import Nights of course and first & second rounds of XDC. It was held in Firebird International Raceway in Phoenix Arizona though many enthusiast came from other states as well. Big shout out to Dax for the awesome coverage and we hope you enjoy your weekend!

Dang, we’re running very late on the Formula Drift coverage this time around. Better late than never though, right? First 15-20 photos are from day one, which is the qualifying day of course, and the second set of photos is second day, the actual day of the competition. Not to take away from any of the talented drivers but what it pretty much came down to was Daigo vs. Yoshihara (Daigo taking the 3rd spot) & eventually Pawlak vs. Powers (Pawlak taking the lead) and lastly it was Pawlak and Yoshihara (Yoshi taking the second and Pawlak taking that first spot). We’re looking forward to seeing just what happens at Road to the Championship in Braselton, GA next month!
