We can’t even begin to tell you how honored we are to have the opportunity of showing you Daniel’s pride and joy. From the very first time we laid our eyes on it we were determined to have it right here on StanceNation. With so many s-chassis in this “scene” of ours it’s getting harder and harder to get noticed, we can all agree on that. In our opinion, Daniel definitely found that median where his car is different just enough without going overboard. But let’s not get carried away, we’re here today to show you Daniel’s beautiful ride. You can never go wrong with Black on Takata green. Daniel however took things to another level and you’ll see exactly what we’re talking about below. Photos By: Jared Houston exclusively for StanceNation.com Daniel bought the car in 2006, bone stock, which he then stripped! Little by little he started upgrading and adding parts as new and improved ones hit to the market. Just like most (if not all) builds, there were some challenges that Daniel faced, but around November of last year, the car was finally “completed”. It now makes 422rwhp w/368tq, sits low and wide, and actually looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Daniel tells us that practically every nut and bolt is new and everything is powder coated, even the front and rear subframes. The motor is fully built and features things like Brian Crower cams, Wiesco Pistons eagle rods & cosmetic head gasket arp head studs. Also, all custom intake manifold, custom exhaust manifold, precision 6262. 44 mm tial wastegate, custom intercooler & intercooler piping, custom intake with a HKS hi-flow intake filter, 800cc injectors, Sard FPR and Q45 throttle body. The bay is “wire tucked to hell”, as Daniel says and it’s also sporting a custom tub job. Plan for the car was to make around 430RWHP, but now that he is past that his goal is to be sitting somewhere around 600hp! From the sound of it, it’s just a matter of time before we see this thing pushing north of 600RWHP! When Daniel started building his car he knew exactly what he wanted. An all around, well built car with nothing but quality. On the inside you can find things like Bride Digos seats w/Takata Racing harnesses, a Nardi steering wheel w/NRG slim hub with a quick release, completely custom rear seats with Bride material to match his fronts of course and a custom 6pt welded in cage. We’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. With that we come to the exterior. As we mentioned before, you really can’t go wrong with Black on Takata green especially on these cars. The wheels are Volk TE37′s obviously, sized at 18×9.5 with +12 offset up front and 18×10.5 with +15 offset in the rear. They’re wrapped in Falken 912′s in 215/40/18 up front and 235/40/18 in the rear. All of the suspensions bushings are made by Energy , while Suspension Techniques takes care of front and rear sway bars. It also respectively sits on K-sport coilovers (which we hear great things about) while SPL took care of the traction/camber/control arms. We’re hoping to get a chance to see this thing in person some day. We’ll end it here and leave you with some more incredible photos that our friend Jared Houston provided us with (make sure you visit his site by clicking here). We’re confident that this won’t be the last time you’re seeing Daniels car. While he builds his cars for no one but himself, he did tell us that one of his dreams & goals in life was to see a car he built in a magazine. If you ask us, it’s just a matter of time. What do you say? Drop a comment below and let us know.

No matter how many times we look at photos of Jeshuas car it always feels like the first time. It’s fresh, it’s clean, and it’s one of our favorite Civic coupes at the moment. If the car looks familiar some of you it’s probably because you’ve seen it here before, while it was still sitting on Rotiform wheels. Since that last feature, this slammed Civic has actually come quite a long way. It is now running a Garret turbo, completely new set of shoes and many other smaller things. Mind you, this will be the 15th or 16th set of wheels for this car so we have a feeling that Jeshua is probably thinking about changing things up already. Make sure you visit the first feature by clicking here if you haven’t already. Photos By: Jeshua Wood exclusively for StanceNation.com As much as we liked the “uniqueness” of Rotiforms on this car, we gotta say that these CCW’s suit the car a bit better. Though we would really love to see someone pull off an aggressive set of Rotiform TMB’s on their FG1/2. Jeshuas Civic sits on Stance GR+ Coilovers and CCW LM20 wheels sized at 18×9.5 all around with +22 offset. This time around he could only get 3.5″ lips due to CCW barrel sizes. He also had to add a bit more camber all around which put him at -3 front and -6 in the rear. It’s just right in our opinion, what do you say? As we mentioned above, since the last feature Jeshua also added a Greddy turbo with Greddy IC, bov, and all custom piping. He also upgraded the injectors, fuel pump and spark plugs. As the car sits, it’s pushing 190WHP on low boost. It’s no track car by any means, but it definitely packs a punch that satisfies Jeshuas needs. Another thing he mentioned to us was that he didn’t want to get too crazy because of reliability issues. Jeshua will be attending the Cupcake Meet 12 out in Austin, Texas on the 4th so if you guys see him make sure you say what up! He’ll also be scouting for potential feature cars for us so make sure you hit him up if your car is slammed & fitted! As always, make sure you hit up our facebook and forums to stay updated with latest things and if you think your ride has what it takes to be on our site, hit us up via the contact page.

Our photographer Javier Santiago recently took a trip to the sunny Southern California where he got a chance to shoot this incredible Acura NSX. Kien (owner) bought his NSX about 6 years ago after he saw how quickly his 350z’s value was depreciating. He somehow stumbled upon this pristine 1991 black NSX with only 24,000 miles on the clock. It was owned by an investment banker who barely drove the car, and the rest was history as they say. Owning an NSX meant going fast around the corners (track) and in between cones (auto-x), so during almost all 6 years of owning his NSX Kien’s main focus was strictly on making his ride more responsive. Photos By: Javier Santiago exclusively for StanceNation.com Kien first began with the addition of modifications that increased acceleration, beginning with a Comptech carbon fiber intake with Uni-filter which was later stacked with Downforce Ram Air. To expedite exhaust flow, a set of Taitec headers was added, custom test pipes to further free flow exhaust gases, and finally, a Pride V2 exhaust was capped for the wicked F1 scream. Since the NSX has a long second gear (not so ideal for quick acceleration) a set of japanese short gears were added to speed up revs. Aero parts include Shine Auto Type 1 front lip with custom front spats, color matched Type R hood, custom widened front fenders, Marga Hills side skirts with custom side spats & pulled rear fenders. The rear bumper incorporates a set of I’s Impact spats with custom rear vortex generators topped off with a Seibon CF rear spoiler and CF deck lip spoiler, all painted jet black. Check out the rear end shots of this thing, the exhaust/diffuser area is just incredible. The suspension was tackled using a set of Bilstein coilovers to drop the NSX at all four corners while sitting on 18X9 with +38 offset up front and 18X11.5 with +25 offset in the rear, CCW LM20′s. The wheels were finished in anodized gold with gold ARP hardware which in our opinion works oh-so-well. He wrapped them in some 215/30/18′s up front and 265/35/18′s in the rear. Note: After this photo-shoot, Kien has gone with a bit more wider tire in the rear. When asked what the future holds, Kien told us that the fitment of the NSX will be pushed further with wider 18X10′s up front and 19×12 rear wheels, sitting tucked in front vented wide fenders, custom massaged rear quarter panels. There is also a very good possibility of supercharged or turbo charged configuration. We’ll end it here with a huge shout out to Javier as well as Kien for making this feature happen. Make sure you email us through our contact page if you think your car has what it takes to be on our site!

Today we have yet another car with just the right amount of form and function. It belongs to our friend Peter MacDonald out of South Dakota. We’ve had our eye on it ever since we first posted it on our Facebook and with the help of Chris & Jeremiah from FOTOmotive we are fortunately able to take a closer look at this sexy white on white STi! Peter picked this bad boy up brand spanking new just last year. Since getting his car he has racked up not only thousands of miles, but also thousands of dollars in all sorts of aftermarket parts. Everything from wheels, suspension & control arms to catback, downpipe & injectors. Let’s take a look at a few of those modifications shall we? Photos By: Chris Yushta & Jeremiah Lewis exclusively for StanceNation.com First and foremost we would like to say that you can never go wrong with Work XD9′s on your STi. As common as that setup may, be it just works (no pun intended). Peter is rocking his Work XD9′s in 18×10 with +18 offset all around wrapped in 225/40/18 Falken tires. Those red Rays extended lug nuts were also a nice addition in our opinion. In a way, they do a great job separating the white on white look without really going overboard. Peter also went with the famous BC coilovers and Cusco rear control arms. His fitment is right on point we gotta say. What do you think? Peter also tells us that he enjoys taking the car out to some Auto X races every now and then. This is his “daily driver and weekend warrior” so don’t think it’s a garage queen or a show car. Though since we brought up shows, Peter has been collecting trophies left and right all last year, but that’s besides the point. Let’s take a closer look at some of the exterior changes. One of the most noticeable ones being that Blacktop Aero Carbon lip kit up front and Blacktop Aero rear Carbon Diffuser. He also went ahead and changed up some of the smaller things such as the Carbon Fiber rear hatch trim and ChargeSpeed Carbon front bumper vents. So what’s under that hood you ask already, right? Car is ProTuned On E85 at 334WHP/377TQ thanks to things like AEM Intake, Cobb AP, Cobb Down pipe and Invidia Q300 Catback system. Just like last time, we’ll include the full spec list on the very bottom of this feature. In the near future Peter will be looking to upgrade the turbo to FPgreen turbo as well as adding a front mount intercooler to the engine. As far as body the car goes, Peter will be looking at doing a carbon rear wing and carbon hood. All relatively simple stuff which will make this Subaru look even better in our opinion. On that note, we’ll end right here but as always leave you with some awesome photo for your viewing pleasure. Huge thanks to Chris and Jeremiah from FOTOmotive for their contribution. Make sure you check out their facebook by clicking here, they do great work as you can see.
Form or function? That’s the question many of us ask ourselves after acquiring our new cars. While most of us choose to go the “form” path there are guys like Carson who aren’t wiling to sacrifice looks for performance, or performance for looks. Now it may not be the lowest or fastest EVO out there but with a 2.3 BR (Buschur Racing) Stage 3 STROKER kit that’s pushing 430+ WHP and aggressive set of 18×10.5 shoes all around it can definitely holds it’s own against many other EVO’s in both “form” and/or “function” category. With that said, this is where things come to an end. Carson had his EVO for quite a while, and by now he has probably already started parting the car out. Our photographer Raymond Tran was kind enough to get us the last few photos of it before it gets parted out. Photos By: Raymond Tran exclusively for StanceNation.com Carson has a tough time sticking to one set of wheels for more than a year. Since he owned his EVO he actually went through 4 different sets. Work XD9′s, AME TM02′s, VOLK TE37SL’s, and these beautiful SSR SP1′s finished in spectrum silver and sitting at 18×10.5 all around with +25 offset wrapped in Kumo Ecsta SPT 245/35/18 tires. It’s all about running & supporting quality products & legit business’ for Carson. Stopping this 430+ WHP beast is assisted by DBA 4000 series slotted rotors all around, Project Mu B-force rear pads, Ferodo DS-2500 front pads & lastly Goodridge stainless steel brake lines front and rear. You gotta love an all around well built car such as this one. We’ll include the entire list of modifications for you on the bottom of this feature. A we mentioned earlier it’s running a 2.3 BR (Buschur Racing) Stage 3 stroker kit with 2.3 BR Stage 3 head and a ton more BR stuff like the connecting rods, forged pistons & BR3065 (Garrett GT30R) turbo kit. He also dressed up the bay with a few goodies like the Arc titanium gradation spark plug cover & caps that you can see in the photos below. Interior is looking just as awesome as the exterior. IT features things like Status racing Ring seats (driver/passenger) that’s paired up with Status racing Side mount x4 & Status racing silder x2. You can’t go wrong with Nardi 330mm Deep Corn Sport Rally Steering Wheel and a bunch of Defi gauges either can you? Oh and we’re very much loving that ARC titanium shift knob. It just goes so well with rest of the car, what do you say? We finally come to that sexy exterior. It features a ton of Rexpeed parts such as their CF front lip, rear spoiler, side skirt extensions, rear bumper extension, side spats and mirrors which can be seen above. Even the small “generator” above the rear window was replaced with the one made by Vertex and small details such as side markers, tail lights and window visors were swapped. Carson has quite an eye for detail. We’re in love, nothing further to say. We’ll end the feature with a few more photos like we always do and huge shout out to Carson and Raymond for working together to make this feature happen. We’re looking forward to seeing what Carson has in store up next though we’re sure whatever it ends up being, it’ll be nothing but quality and perfection.

We try our hardest to stay in touch with all the enthusiasts we meet during features and one of those people is Chris Beardon. We featured his car on our blog about a year ago [click here] and even though at first it may not appear to have changed a whole lot, we figured it was definitely time for a follow up feature. At the time we featured it last year it was easily one of our favorite G35 Coupes out there and we’re confident to say that it still remains up there. Photos By: D. Tek exclusively for StanceNation.com One of the things about this G Coupe that makes it stand out from others is it’s width and shear aggression. The custom metal wide body sits about 2″ wider all around and makes many of the stock bodied G’s look rather “dull”. But it’s not just the appearance this G has going for it, under the hood you will find a freshly installed Turbonetics Turbo Kit that will put many “go-fast” guys in their place. How about that wicked posture though… Just like last year, Chris’ G sits & rolls low on Universal Air Suspension. To perfect the “stance” and make space for those massively wide DPE wheels, he also added Cusco Camber kit. Behind the wheels you’ll find one of our favorite aftermarket big brake kits, made by the Futura Design. You ready for some specs here? Jojo from DPE Wheels supplied Chris with the beautifully finished (brushed) DPE SP5 wheels sized at 20×10.5 up front with a ridiculous -32 offset and even wider 20×12 rears with -30 offset. That’s around 5.8″ lip front and over 7″ in the rear. Just, wow! Chris has had the car for 2 years now and his previous wheels include 20″ JLine 6SL2, 19″ Weds Kranze LXZ & 20″ Work Varianza T1S. Last time we asked Chris what his future plans were he told us about the BBK, wheels as well as new paint. While he obviously didn’t get the car painted yet, we’re still looking forward to it! This time around his future plans include redoing the interior of the car with a touch of suede and yet another set set of DPE wheels. He’ll be going with their SC (super concave) design which will look absolutely amazing if you ask us. On that note, we’d like to thank D. Tek for the incredible photography and of course Chris himself. We’re very excited for 2012, it seems like we’ll be seeing a ton of incredible rides coming out especially from Texas where Chris is from. For high resolution photos make sure you click on the thumbnails. Click Save As for even higher resolution. We’ll end it with this awesome photo that D. Tek captured. Big ups to him & make sure you check out his work here.

The power of internet is just amazing. We randomly stumbled on a photo of this Audi A5 out of Japan a couple of months ago and with the power of internet we were able to not only get in touch with the owner of that particular photo, but also arrange a proper photoshoot just for you guys! Thankfully So (photographer) was able to get in touch with Haru (owner of the A5) and before you know it this awesome set of photos was waiting in our inbox. We’ve been meaning to put this feature out for a couple of weeks now but had to keep pushing it back because our new website design was taking up all of our time so without further adieu we present to you Harus beautiful Audi A5 Sportback! Photos By: So Kikuya exclusively for StanceNation.com Yes, what you’re looking at is the all new 2011 Audi A5 2.0TFSI Sportback. The owner “Haru” tried to leverage perfect body lines of his white A5 Sportback by adding a black theme to the car. It features Piano Black OEM RS5 grill, a set of 20 inch monoblock wheels, and various carbon fiber parts that were blended well in rather “simple styling” to make this already sexy A5 even sexier. The car is lowered on AS Sport Coilovers which were developed by Quantum Racing for not only looks but also handling and stability. As a matter of fact Haru occasionally takes it out to winding roads and race tracks of Japan to push the car to it’s limit, but at the end of the day he enjoys the smooth and comfortable ride throughout the city, on daily basis. We can only imagine how many necks this thing breaks. The Prodrive 20 inch monoblock wheels sit perfectly with a ton of effort of detailed camber adjustments and of course offset. They are GC-012L in 20×9.5″ up front with Bridgestone S001 245/30/20 tires and 20×10.5″ in the rear with Bridgestone S001 285/25/20 tires. Haru says “I never had or have any problems with rubbing and the car rides even better than S-Line suspension with 18 inch wheels.” His future plans include an upgrade of the brake system to a Big Brake Kit, full exhaust system, and of course, ECU tuning. He has also been thinking about upgrading the audio system and interior a bit but it sounds like he’s got plenty other mods that he would like to do first. In detail, under the hood you will find Plasma Direct Ignition Coils with Defi Boost Gauge built into air vent. Haru also added AS Sports Center Rigid Frame, AS Sports AS500 Brake Pads & as we said before, AS Sports Coilovers. His front grill is all custom as you can tell and he is also rocking the AS Sport Carbon front spoiler along with the AS Sport Carbon rear trunk lip spoiler. Class, elegance, sexiness, comfort, luxury. Those are just a few words that come to our mind when we look at this Audi. How about you? Drop a comment below and let us know what’s on your mind. We’ll leave you with a few more awesome photos that So Kikuya shot for us. Big thanks to him for making this feature possible and of course a huge thanks goes out to Haru for wanting to share his ride with us.

We honestly don’t think that it even needs an introduction so we’ll just let a couple of these photos do the talking. Though we would like to point out that this was definitely another one of our favorite VIP Style builds from this years Tokyo Auto Show. Big thanks to Park Baker for the awesome photos as always!
We’ve always loved the sharp and sporty curves that these beautiful cars have going for them. This particular one comes to us all the way from Japan and it belongs to Toshi-San. We first saw this car last year in one of our event coverages and it was love at first sight. You would expect crazy body work & camber, but it’s just the opposite. Simple stock body and barely any camber especially when aired up. We all know how easy it is for us to get carried away with offsets, stretch, & etc, now imagine how it is in Japan where it seems like everyone is pushing things to the extremes. Photos By: Shota Mori exclusively for StanceNation.com As we mentioned earlier, this sexy CL7 sits on ACC air runner setup and is rocking SPC rear camber arms. It’s under carriage literally sits on the ground when parked and just millimeters off the ground when being driven. We also love Toshis choice of wheels which happen to be Work Meister M1R’s. Fronts are 18×9 +38 with 20mm spacers and 205/35/18 tires while in the back he has a 18×9 +19 with 10mm spacers and a slightly less stretched pair of 215/35/18 tires. Hiding behind those beautiful Works is a set of Project Mu 4 pot calipers all around which. There you have it guys. Just as we always say, less is more. A beautiful daily driver that’ll break necks rolling down the road. As always, make sure you click the Read More button below to check out more photos that our awesome photographer Shota Mori took. You’ll recognize almost all of the other cars in the photo as we featured them in the past. Simply use the search bar on the right to search for a specific ride!

Toyota Celsior with Century front end and a complete K Break kit. Undoubtedly one of the finest conversions out there. Not only that but we would actually go as far as saying that it’s one of the greatest VIP builds to come out of Japan in recent times. If you’re a fan of the VIP styling chances are you’ve already seen it before, but not with the newest wheels that it rocked at Tokyo Auto Salon. All new K-Break Hybreed Cross 9′s in stunning 19×9.5 up front and 19×12 in the rear. Fitted to perfection to say the least. As we sit and write this post we can’t stop asking ourselves, when will someone stateside build something with so much character and precision? Don’t get us wrong, we’ve seen several incredible builds (specifically from NY, NJ, TX & CA) but nothing as wild as this. We have faith though.
