Stanced Muscle out in EP

Thanks for checkin out my build thread. I'm Reppin domestic (although I have owned all types of cars and trucks ) on this one! There may not be enough of us out there but with the movement pushin strong, no doubt it wont take long. Quick background on the car. It's a 2006 Mustang Saleen SC281 #125. Bought her new back in 06 and have been moddin ever since. This build took about 9 months. The highlight of the car is APR's GT500 widebody kit. You may have seen the GT kit in mags and on the streets since late 2008 however the GT500 frontend is a new addition to the line-up. There are only 4 of the GT500 kits in the world at this point. There will be more! i'm still working on a couple more things for the car but for now here is a quick mods list:

HO Whipple S/C w/ Steeda 10 rib 12 PSI single belt drive system
Full Air Ride set-up
19x11 et-6 and 20x12.5 et 0 SSR MS1 w/chrome step lip and gloss black mesh
285/30 19 and 325/25 20 Conti tires
14in Stop Techs
Sparco chrono roads and rear seat delete
Autometer stuff
I don't have a badd ass camera like everyone here so a point n shoot will have to make due ;)

Thanks E! I wanted to do something to it this time around that was xtreme but at the same time nice to look at. Hope this will contribute to the domestic movement as well. If nobody buys the Challenger, she's next in the shoot!

Thanks Brian and Mick, I seriously thought about the duckbill however there isnt one on the market to fit the widebody. The bodyshop that did my work doesnt have the skill to fab a spoiler to fit. APR has a prototype duckbill that will be out soon. I need to jump on that.

I recently watched the movie Kick-Ass, and all I kept saying throughout the movie is how even though i'm not a fan of Mustangs, i'd rock the shit out of that red one that they drive throughout the movie. However I must say that i'm a fan of yours as well! I think it would look so sinister if you went wingless though!

Just an idea. that guy can make about anything. You could paint it and keep that raw LM look its got with the wide body..



That car is fuckin hood as shit though. I love it!!! Ive wanted to see one of these fitted up for a while.




Out of curiosity, do the brand new 5.0 headlights retrofit into these?

Thanks bro. I haven't seen that movie yet but I want to haha. I did read something about you didn't like Mustangs but to each his own. Glad you had an open mind when you saw this one and the movie car lol. There are SOOOO many Mustangs on the road these days, it's a must that you come with something different. By the way, you have a cool ass project going on yourself bro. I still have visions of owning a super bad ass Miata with an S/C'd V8 of course :dance:

Thanks dude, I will have to check this guy out when I get back home. I don't think the 2010up HIDs just slide in however the bumper and headlight bracket could be fabbed to fit though. I like the new HID headlights too, we have them on our 2010 as well.
