Since some of you have expressed interest in my creations and everyone is so cordial and anti hater, i figured i would share to you my main objective since my gto is just a daily driver. This is my serious project. There are quite a few haters around my area who like to street race. Some of them have fairly fast cars and what not, and the trash talking has gone on for the last decade or so. Before i was into v8s i worked on hondas, but ive since switched my realm into lsx platforms. This is my 1988 mazda rx7 10th anniversary turbo 2 that started life as a under 60k mile mint chassis which was in original shape. Ive since gotten serious hatred from rx7club owners and rx7 enthusiasts due to my blatent disregard for the collectors status and objective to build the most possible horsepower in the lightest car i could find that does not suck ass. Last year this car was around 650whp on nitrous and 625torque. due to some constant rear end issues, i decided to take it apart. Then i decided to turbo it. Then i decided to twin turbo it..... Well, im sick of fucking haters. I am now putting an ERL 430ci ls2 superdeck 2 deckplate blower block into it, all pro lsw heads, (currently have rpm level 6 4l65e trans but am swapping to an extreme automatics spragless th210 3 speed auto), a precision pt-114 billet, big stuff 3 ems, ect, ect... This when and if i ever get the shit finished should put down from 1500-2000whp and weigh just under 2500lbs with the chromolly sfi 7.50 inspected cage in it. If these queers want to race and bluff game in their 800hp cars, ok, time to make 2000whp. With the parts ive got, even using a stock lq4 truck motor and one of my spare gt45s this car would run low 9s to high 8s with the rear end and trans setup i already have. My goal is to do transbrake wheelstands on I75 and rip the rear bumper off dragging it on the street, then open up the chute with FUCK OFF stitched in it at 180 in front of some hater. hahaha. I guess i am just crazy. Either way, look for serious progress on this this winter, as i have gotten distracted and put together the GTO, or this would already be done.

EXACT same suspension design as what ive built, nearly exact same torque arm rear end setup as i have put together, same size tires/wheels, HALF the power, and over 1000lbs heavier car.. SEEYABYE HATERS. DEFFFF ripping the rear bumper off this car with no wheelie bars.

honestly, 1800+ if i continue the way i am going now.

There are 3 guys in dayton ohio with nearly the same setup. they all use 106mm turbos on 427s. The guy that made the least power still made 1800.may i add thats on extrude honed truck manifolds also flipped backwards

Ill have a 2500lb car, with a 114mm turbo, on a 430. it will be entirely more than necessary, but i had a dream about breaking a dyno, lol. Take it to riceboy shows and shut it down. White smoke the tires and peg the dyno at like 4200rpm and then rev it to 8000. thats got to fuck something up, lol...

all pipe dreams till i can stop messing with this gto and get back to work.

Not a hater at all here brother,

I came out of a 2003 770RWHP and 700RWTQ D1SC with only 11 lbs of boost Z06 before I got into what I'm in now. As a 1/4mile track car the car felt good and strong, of course this was with a 6 speed trans and 2 clutches per season. The car ran great on a mickey 26 inch cheater slick, however on the street it was a different animal and could be easily killed by an auto with 3/4 of the power. Are you looking to build a car that will go fast on the street, be a dyno queen, or go fast at the track? HP does not usually equal fast times at the track, and a set up street car is not the same as a track car. Reading your threads and being a very impressed individual by the work you have done I'm just looking to see what your future goals are. A powerglide trans with 800RWHP and TQ in the same range would F up most of these haters as well as you and I both know it.

I am looking at building this right on par with outlaw 10.5 f body cars, however am throwing the parts into a much lighter chassis. I realize in reality, i will not need anywhere near this much power with a car this light, but at the same time the chassis is more of a disposable asset to me. I'm trying to put the motor together and be able to eventually put this powertrain right into a chevy 2 or 67-69 camaro shell eventually, which will need me to have more power. I contemplated a powerglide, and even a lenko at one point, but have decided the 3 speed th210 route to keep the ability to drive it on the street in a rarity.

As of now, i could for sure put a lq4 longblock into this with a forged rotating assembly (like 416 ci), head studs, and push the fucker till it came close to lifting the heads and id easily have a mid 8 second car with the weight and like a 1/13th of the cost, but in the end i am just a power junkie with bigger plans/goals.

Id assume that this car will get the level of the build as i plan, however ill have stuff turned down quite a bit for the occasions i have it on the STREET. Even with around 1200whp, there is NOTHING on the street that would hang with this setup. You and I both know, being 1000lbs lighter than anything with that kind of power is a serious death trap when it comes to putting the power down. Fortunately, here in Ohio things are a bit more laxed with this particular car. Ive got it registered as a "collectors" car, meaning there are many DOT regulations i can currently loop hole around. I have driven the car on the street with bias ply slicks, open headers, and the list goes on cause i have signed forms stating that its "a collectors item for rare highway driving used for show and exhibition purposes". Its quite humorous, ill be driving down the road with my limo tinted windshield, and there will be a cop in a lot, he will like put on his seatbelt looking right at me, pull to the exit of the lot, and as i pass he obviously sees the plates and then does not pull out, lol.. Kind of like a big fuck you to him, cause i am compliant for a collector car..

As far as long term though, this more than likely will shift away from the street. With 90-10 front shocks and the rear end setup, aerospace brakes, and this much power, its not really something i want to take to some cruise inn, get pissed off in, and end up romping it on the freeway TERMINATING someone, and come up on a bend in the road or some shit. This is FOR SURE something that id get killed in, and as i grow older Ive got a bit more things to keep me around (wife, career, ect).


So, in synopsis. This car is aimed at being primarily a drag race track car. I will drive it on the street, but at the same time, im the kind of dickhead that has a pickup truck following me with a 55 gallon drum of VHT in the back and a sprayer and is driving it on beadlock 30x15x10.5W et drags if some jerkoff runs their mouth enough. lol...Just will have to stick to my GTO when it comes to going out cruising around looking for trouble. The CRAZY powertrain will definately be eventually moved onto a 3/4 tube chassis nova or camaro since they still SEVERELY have my heart. Its just more or less my grand finale to imports, lol..

well i am finishing up the gto then i will. I know i do quite a bit of modding, but i am a legitimate builder here haha.. Like i pay a mortgage, and have a wife and work a job and shit. These turds arent coming from like a lotto ticket, or a trust fund or heroin sales or some business like that. This gto is VERY EXPENSIVE to build so its taken some of the budget from this project. Once i am satisfied, this rx7 will be a pretty quick build. I just got a bit more into the gto since i drive it daily and its amenities are much more favorable and plesent to be inside. The rx7 literally makes you feel like when you were little on the way home from school and getting a detention or with your bad report card every time i drive it. Like it makes me UBER nervous whenever i drive it. Like shakey.. between breaking it lose on the freeway, to close calls with the cops, its just not fun to drive as you would expect. haha..

OH MY DEAR!!! much props on teh swap, some people in those specific car forums are too anal/stuck in their own ass about cars...at the end of the day its a car, if you want to get technical, we are all stupid for even modifing cars, but we all do it, they should shove a nitrous bottle in their ass...that first vid you posted...i saw a 11 mustang do that ...but he didnt make it down the track LOL.

Beyond changing the wheels on the gto to the forgelines and adding the brakes and seeing how fast it is as is, im not spending much more money on it. The only purpose of the gto anyhow is to drive to and from work. Most normal people do shit like that in a fucking stock toyota camry anyhow, so its already way overkill. haha

Im sure in the end either will be a disapointment for the masses though as usual. lol.. Ill get a 8 second car finished, and i will remain to have zero in common with anyone else with an 8 second setup. Ill get the gto fitted with monolug wheels and race tires directly off a ALMS track, and some hick will still think it sucks. Its a good thing i build all my shit for myself and dont really give a fuck though. Ill spend a hundred thousand on all of it and just sit in the fucking garage in a lawn chair and look at it, then go out and do 180 pulls alone at 3am, i really dont care. Designing em, building em, and beating the fuck out of em is all im interested in. I havent even bought a car magazine in 4 years, i dont even care whats going on most times. nJust a bunch of fags wanting to argue on the internet most times. lol...

time to take those dildo tires off them, powder coat the rear barrels gloss black, and mount 325-345 drag radials on it. Fronts get the 25mm adapters my friend ginger got me..

I'm all about big motor/little car builds. A widebody road race Miata is next on my list after I finish to GTO and long travel Baja. I want a 4.125" bore, 3.622" stroke, solid cam, high rpm monster in the Miata.

i have decided to part ways with this project. I am trying to thin the heard and prepare for a possible move/relocation out west pending we can sell our house. Ive decided to sell the rx7 and go all out on the gto.
