USDM AS F#$K

Elvis said sometime earlier that I should either get low or go home. I was at home when I read it so I figured the only plausible solution was to get low. :D story time

So, here's the sich..I bought this car about 2 years ago. I had actually been saving up for some 19in Work Meister S2's for the G35 that I had PLANNED on buying as a 3rd car. However, my Mazda6 ished the bed. So, having 2 kids and no useable sedan, the G35 and it's pimp wheels had to go.

Since my Mazda was paid off, I didn't have to spend any of my Work Miester money on getting the car down to snuff for my budget. So, what did I spend the money on? Allow me to show you in a barage of cell phone pics.(not all stance related btw) :D

replaced with creamy new High Intensity Discharge. 12000k in the lizows and 3000k in the FIZZZogs.

Then it was time to upgrade the nav and add an ipod adapter...those pics are boring and useless cuz I ended up scrapping that entire unit and upgrading to the touchscreen ANYWay.

no. Over the winter, I obviously got the get the suspension dialed in. The wheels will be mounted soon for a proper photoshoot but there's some work to be done in that department as well. Spacers and fender rolling shall happen. I've also got some plans for the trunk. You want a blurry preview? Course you do.

Yessir, Elvis. They are staggered. 22x9 +15 front 22x10.5 +20 rear. I'm ordering tires nex..uhh..tomorrow actually. lol. Yeah. I can't wait to get those mounted up. Even though it's only going to be short lived. I also found a guy to stretch steel wheels so I should be pretty baller during the winter. Word is he's not an easy person to get a hold of nor is he punctual, but I've seen his work and it is good.

Oh, I showed some of my dubland friends your car and the general consensus was HOLY FAWK!!! So, now everyone's all amped up to help me cuz they know an LX can get low.

FYI, Vossen and I parted ways. That's how I ended up with these wheels. They were just taking toooooo long.

I will. Thanks for the compliments guys. I can't wait to get my tires here so I can get it on. I'm actually doing some suspension tuning tonight. I feel like it has opposite rake. I'm also debating whether to put the bushings back in. Right now, I can just turn up the music, but I won't be able to do that with the kids in the car and that'll piss me off hearing that clunk when I'm going over rough roads.

I think Tommy Z from Tommy Z Designs is doing a stanced one. The Taurus I mean. He just did my buddy Simon's 300CSRT8. effin sik. I've only seen spy shots here and there tho. Nothing substantial. If I do, ima post it tho.

Well, the tires came and they were completely wrong. WHY...My own stupidity, I guess. I went through a local shop, and gave them the specs I wanted. they didn't order THOSE. I wanted Nittos. I got Falkens. They also offered Toyos. Sure, they cost a bit more, but I was willing to pay it for the convienence and I trust the guys with maintenance. So, in a nutshell, my front tires were ordered in Falkens and the front tires were ALSO ordered for the rears. Soooooo...yeah that ain't gon work. It would take a week to get everything straightened out and honestly, other than posting pictures on the internet, everything I was trying to get the car done for is over with now. So, I'll just order tires off the interwebs like i had planned on doing and work on other aspects like stereo and dialing in suspension so it doesn't look like saggy ass. Probably start saving up for the new interior as well. I'll keep everyone posted. But the wheels aren't going on anytime soon since I'd be taking them off immediately anyway.

Pics are coming around the 21st. Just ordered the CORRECT tires from Discount Tire Direct....Nitto Invo's. I actually had an assload of pix from the 10th and 11th of some suspension tweeking and the "dangers of riding low but I deleted'em cuz I'm a DSLR noob. I'll probably snap a few more off tonight.
