Picture request: 215's on an 8.5" wide wheel.

As the title states, i'm looking for a picture of a 215 tire mounted on an 8.5" wide wheel. Wheel size/tire profile doesn't really matter.....just trying to get a basic idea of what it will look like. I'm getting ready to get some new 19"x8.5" wheels for the Slowbalt (see my thread) and I plan on running a 215/35/19 tire, so it'd be cool to see what it will look like before I drop the ball, lol.

Here it is. There really isn't any stretch at all. I would do a 205 if I was you so u can dump it without worrying about rubbing so much yet still keep it moderate.

Thanks AreTee. I would have visited that site myself but my work's webfilter blocks it. That doesn't look too bad, but I would agree that a little bit more stretch would be nice. However, a 215 on an 8.5" is still a step in the right direction when compared to my current setup, which consists of a 225 on an 8" :lol:

I would love to run a 205/35/19, but I have looked EVERYWHERE online, and can't find a place/company that sells a tire in that size. If you can find a 205/35/19 tire send it my way!

depending on what tire you're goign to be going with is going to determine the amount of stretch. none the less a 215 wont be much.

Do you have any suggestions on tires? The Kumho's AreTee posted look more stretched than some of the other setups i've seen.

Thanks everyone! Maybe it's just an illusion, but it appears that the Kumho's in the picture AreTee posted stretch the best. But then again, that is a 35 profile, and the other pics posted have been 40-45 profile tires.

I realize you can stretch a tire alot more than what i'm planning on doing. However, good luck finding wide wheels for a 5x110 bolt pattern....I found an 8.5" to my fancy.....and while I would love to do a bit more stretch.....good luck finding a 205/35/19 tire. They just flat out don't exist.

uhh...how about 195 then? ;)

and you can always run a 5x112 and run wobble bolts. tonnnnnns of options in 5x112, not to mention adapters.
