british mk2 scirocco in the making! car is stripped!

first of all, this is not my car. the scirocco belongs to my friend and we are currently working on it to get it ready for this summer.

the car is a british scirocco that he imported in canada. maybe some of you saw it previously at waterfest.

first, the rebuild began when he blew the good old 1.8 8v.

he decided to get a 2.0l 16v with 4 webber, bigger pistons, more agressive cam and all the stuff that goes with it.

with the engine out, why not redo the whole car?

fitted it with 13'' widened steelies

he bought a set of rh wheels also but i don't have those pics.

he sold them and decided it was time to get back to basics.

bought a set of raceland coilovers and bbs rm wheels.

since the rm, like the rs, are not agressive enough, it was time for 2'' and 3'' lips to be fitted along with brand new gold bolts
