My Soarer Build

Hey guys i have a 92 soarer and its getting ready for some changes so i thought id start a mini build thread. Here is a few pics of the car as it has come along...

Here is the car when i first bought it

It stayed looking that way for the first driving season then i got new wheels they were 19x9.5 and 19x8.5 racing hart cr. Riding like a 4x4 lol

Then i discovered the fitment scene and lowered the car and put these falken koblenz wheels on 19x9.5 +35 and 19x10.5 +30. Took some fender rolling to fit those

Then i got the car painted and this is how it sat until now

I just got some new hsd coilovers and the falken wheels are gone and there is some much nicer and more aggressive ones currently en route from japan so this is how the car is sitting now

I have more plans for the car before summer, I need to mount both my buckets since only the driver seat is in right now and if everything goes to plan the 1jz will be single turbo and making a whole lot more power :D

i sold them. they were nice wheels but not the 3pc ones and the offsets were weak. sunken with un-rolled fenders. if i could have found them in the right widths and offsets i would buy them again they are awesome

UPDATE

so i ordered some work meisters in some way better sizes and offsets but they are taking longer than planned so i bought some used 5zigen wheels to hold me over till the meisters get here they are 18x9.5 +25. here is a few rolling shots from this past weekend.

i think i might raise the front a bit. what are peoples thoughts on this? how low are you guys driving your cars? think this is driveable lol

Yess, looks sick! How does the Soarer handle the low offset? I'm looking into getting one fair soon, but people have been telling me that they don't like non-factory offset's too much... and since factory is +50 fuck that. Down here in Aus the fitment scene is pretty damn small and the soarer fitment scene is 0, so it's hard to find people to ask, aye. All I have to talk to is legit Toyota mechanics that just keep sprouting "Factory offset comes from the factory for a reason rahrahrah".

The soarer loves low offsets there is so much more room under these cars than people realize. That's a 305 tire on the rear of mine with no rubbing. Join clublexus.com and do some more research there. Tons of crazy fitment there

thanks for the comments guys i just lowered the car 3/4" in the front and almost 1/2" in the back. sits even better now. ill try to get a few pics up.

The car is currently under construction again. The 1jz and 5 speed have been pulled in favour of a 2jz and 6 speed combo with a single turbo and a whole bunch of other goodies. Also supra brakes with endless pads are going on along with a full body and interior make over. And as much as i hate to say it, probably a new set of very special wheels even wider than the ones under it now. Here is a few pics of progress.
