Well I've recently gotten into the drifting scene because of the shop that works on my car and learned a few things. But I need a new differential soon I don't have posi. So I plan to keep taking to the track. But as soon as I get front coilovers and rest wheel spacers it should sit pretty nice. What. Do u have planned?

i planning on dropping the front another inch, getting some 17x8 wheels with a +30-35 offset and then do very minor aesthetics, and hopefully find a nice k24 swap to put into the rsx. but i need the money for that. even though about getting a cheap drift car to work on. sounds like you have some good plans with the stang

That's wassup man, what do you mean by the 30-35 offset. I never really understood that. It has to be something with how the wheels sit.

yeah, the offset of a wheel will give you poke or tuck, so if you want more poke from your wheels like maybe you want them flush with the wheel wells or a tiny bit past then you'd go for a low offset, and eventually you can reach a negative offset numbers. But offset id the distance from the middle of the rim to lugs.

so when i say i want a 30-35 offset it just means i want a little more poke since my wheels are a factory +45

i love f-bodys man, one of the guys in my neighborhood has his on 18x11r 17x8.5f on coils modified to drag racing spec. Hope to see some good results from your stang bro

Ohhhh i got you, it took me a minute though. Lol. That's legit then now I know a lot more about selecting wheels for the future. I need to convert to a 5 lug in addition to getting new wheels :/

Yeah for sure I'll try and put up a pic of how low my coilovers go, it's funny though because the front is stock

Always loved how the Mustangs sound, definitely the best sounding muscle car when did right! This thing has potential, and definitely might be the first to stance it out!
