always wanted that "perfect" fitment but when i got my rims i was among the only few who ran a similar set up. it was pretty much guest and check for my seller and i. wheels are 19x9 +36 +48 running 235/35. back is flush and front is kinda....
not really sure what the true purpose of spacers are. all i know is that it makes you car's wheel "pop" out more. but also heard some ppl say it affects the offset as well. im a newb in wheels and tires and hopefully someone can shine some light for me. :geek:
this is with a minor drop

Spacers essentially just lower the offset. Lower offset = more flush. Right now you are running a +36 offset......if you ran a 20mm spacer, it would be at a +16 offset instead. For example, the wheels I just bought are 16"x8" +20, but I need a +0 offset on my car for it to be as flush as I want it, so i'm purchasing 20mm spacers to achieve that. It's all trial and error when it comes down to determining your "perfect" fitment, and wheel width/offset is going to vary per car. A 350Z for example is gonna need a much wider wheel AND a lower offset than my Miata to be considered flush. Also, perfect fitment is in the eye of the beholder too. Some like poke, some like flush and some like tuck. I say just start with some mild spacers (5mm-20mm) and play around with them a bit until your satisfied with the fitment/look.
And for the record, I think your Accord looks amazing as is, but could probably benefit from some small spacers up front :)

nice progress! there is nothing wrong with using hubcentric spacers to get the right fitment! like ^ he said it takes trial and error! personally thats the fun part! try rimtuck.com!

Yes, I am running 25mm/30mm adapters, believe it or not on my 22X10" wheels. The offsets are weak on these rims, so I had to push them out a bit more to the fender. It's actually sitting about 5mm's past the fenders now. I say you go with some 15mm's up front, and maybe 10mm's in the back.

thanks osha cadiluva and elvis i found this site searching around and it seem to clear up a lot questions for me. http://www.ichibausa.com/whspad.html
ill guess ill start off with 15/10 like elvis suggested or go measure the length tomorrow like the site suggested. correct me if i am wrong but i would also have to purchase the longer stud otherwise my current lug nut will not work correct?

Truth. That's why I love this place. I'm all the other stance boards too, and all of them have their pros and cons, but the vibe alot of the other forums give is that "unless your stanced, you shouldn't be here". Won't mention any names/websites, but I think we all know who/what i'm talking about. Just the other day I was defending this poor guy on another forum who introduced himself and clearly stated "my car is a work in progress". He had springs and somewhat aggressive wheels and people were jumping his shit saying stuff like "You call that low?", "why did you even join this forum?" and "if all you can afford is cheap wheels then you shouldn't modify cars". It was horribly obnoxious. I sent the dude a PM and told him to come on over here and make an introduction, but I haven't seen him on here yet.

i suggest 15mm up front since it looks like it still has alot of room
btw accord front fender are factory rolled?

Ty, anything over 5-6 mm I would suggest getting longer studs. However, when you start going 20+ you wanna go with adapter not spacer. For that you don't need new studs since adapters come with extended studs already bolted on them.
Josh and Sam, glad you like it here. I'm the same way, I think this place is very welcoming not only to the OG's of the stance movement but newcomers too. :)

Thanks Josh for the kind words. Barely new on this forum and got a warm welcome and already getting major help on this thread. Most of us weren't born into the car scene so I am glad I found a great place to hang out

nah i don't think so. because i was checking the other day trying to decide how many mm i should go. sucks cause now i have to consider a fender roll as well.

Would something like this be okay Elvis? It's from Ichiba and it comes with the extended studs as well. Would you think I need to get the extended lug nuts too or does lug nuts not play a big factor.

oh my god dude that looks amazing, if you feel like droppin a litle bit of money on wider lips, you could ditch the spacers and get lips that are wider by the sam amount as the spacers that you were using. ie if you were using a 15mm spacer, get lips that are 15mm wider than what you have now

to be honest..i just installed these..and hvn't had much time driving around in them. from my eyes the FRONT RIGHT sticks out a tad too much..maybe it's because my coils aren't lowered evenly because the FRONT LEFT is even. I am trying my best to get my fitment as close to my backs wheels as possible because i think they're perfect..not a lot of poke..just straight up flush with fenders.
tell me what you think? i'll drive around in these for the next couple days and see..maybe..it'll sit and i won't have to replace these w/ 5mm instead. or if anything i'll lower the FRONT RIGHT a tad bit..maybe it'll even out..becasue right now front has way more poke than back.
sorry i am a perfectionist haha :geek:

thanks guys but the rubbing is really driving me insane. i called Ichiba today and they were willing to ship me out a 5mm in exchange for the 10mm back. i really like the look of it right now w/ the 10mm but the rubbing is just too much for me..i was thinking of pulling it..but my fenders are already pull as it is..and more will make it look funky..so yeahh...hopefully things will turn out for the better next week when the 5mm arrives :D
