Cobalt SS LOL

Well I am only 18, got this car from my dad for 5k last October. I work at a library and most of my money goes to car payments but I save a lot of it for my car so its a slow build but I love the car.

For those who don't know, this is a 2006 Chevy Cobalt SS Supercharged Coupe. It has the G85 option which gives it the Recaros, LSD, and the 4.11 final gear ratio. I have added small things here and there such as drilled and slotted brake rotors, intake and I have an exhaust and headers waiting to go in.

This is how I got it:


Then maybe 4 months later I got the spoiler taken off and painted the front bumper, and installed lowering springs, and this is how it sits now:



I recently got Ksport Coilovers, (like a month ago) and I had almost finished installing them when this happens:


Yeah the top mount screw ripped off, and no i wasn't even torquing it yet. :x I just came back from out of state and I have the replacement screw and I plan on slamming it in the next month, along with new wheels and tires.

FSHO! I am gonna max them out and they have pillowball mounts so i am gonna go all the way negative.
My dad is well, oldschool, and kind of doesn't like the whole slammed look lol. So i might not be able to max them out, but i will try haha.

I like the wingless look on those (most cars actually). I'm debating whether or not to wing mine. We'll see. Looks good tho. kudos.

yeah and i was never able to find anything cool to do my car from that site. except the front bumper. everything was about body kits and altezza lights and sh1tty wheels lol

Haha yeah I hear ya. They don't really have any "nice" exterior mods for Cobalts asides from cf hoods/trunks. Only exterior mods I had done to my Cobalt SS back when I had it was a wingless/shaved trunk, VHT tinted tailights/side markers and an ARK shorty antenna. I was going to get some black housing HID retrofits made and SS/TC upper & lower grills, but I traded the car in before I ever got around to it.
