    ***Stance coilover question?***

how stiff are your dampers set on your coilovers?
I'm curious as what you guys set your dampers at for those of you who have coilovers with adjustable dampers.

I am running on stance GR+PRO on my 350z, slammed on 19's with aggressive offset and stretched tires. What would you recommend cuz I've had it slammed a for a total of 2 day and every little bump/dip I hear the car scrape and bottom out...

I all so removed the helper spring cuz I had maxed out the stance.. So now that it's been removed the car can got much lower..could that be the cause of it bottoming out more..?

    Re: ***Stance coilover question?***

I'm installing my Stance GR+ on my Miata this weekend, and i'm wondering the same. I already know that I want the ride height maxed out on full low, but i'm wondering how stiff I need to set it at. I don't want the tires hitting the fenders, so i'm guessing pretty stiff.......but do I need to max out the stiffness? I'm definitely a noob when it comes to coilovers. My last car was just on Eibach Sportline springs and non-adjustable KYB GR-2's.

Also, where is the helper spring? I feel like the Stance GR+ for the Miata don't have a helper spring......

I removed mine from the rear so I could go lower.

I removed the two perches (and just kept the seat spring) from my rears to go lower.

For the OP. I would set them to the stiffest setting and work your way back from there. I drive mine at the stiffest setting and it doesn't bother me.

OSSHWA, yea removing the collars helps out on the miatas a lot, especially when you're maxing out the rear. I remember the 1.8s having an issue with the collars rubbing underneath.

i have my GR+ pros set at 8 clicks up all the way around.. pulling the helper spring just wasted the extra money you spent on the pro's, cause thats the only difference between gr+ and gr+pro...you couldnt just remove the collars?

ill second that. the helper springs worth it and id keep it since you spent extra. i have the PROS too with the helper in and i used to rock full stiff all around. its uncomfortable as hell but cuts down on the rubbing issue
