Sup! My Altima coupe progress ITT

    Hey guys!

I'm new to this forum, wanted to introduce my car.

It's a 2008 Nissan Altima coupe. Fail wheel drive, 4cyl and autotragic, but I love it.

First suspension mods were Eibach springs and weak 7.5in wide Enkeis with 10mm spacers. Stillen front among other things

    I soon realized that 7.5in is weaksauce. Got RPF1's, 18x8.5 +30 and 18x9.5 +45 with 245/45/18

Looked like this for a while

I got tired of my front end and desperately needed to go lower, so I sold the front as well as the RPF1's. I wanted a clean stock aero look, but aggressive at the same time. Took off stupid mudflaps.

The wheels were a downgrade in quality but major upgrade in fitment. Rota Advan RS replicas 18x9 +30 with 245/45/18

Also got BC coil overs and lowered the car a bit over an inch.

    Here's how it sits now

Other suspension mods are Stillen rear sway bar and front strut bar. It's not fast by any means, but it handles very well in the hills! has to be pushed hard to encounter understeer. Torque steer is never an issue because lolnotorque.

I want to go lower, I can still clear most speed bumps. My tires are way too fat though. I'm thinking of 235/35/18, but I dread downgrading tire width

What do you guys think? I'd like some advice!

Thanks, I'm itching to lower it more. There's plenty of room in the rear (I got my fender lips trimmed) but the amount of poke in the front is way too much to lower w/o smaller tires

Shortwave, what tire size are you running on your Rotas, since our wheels are the same size?

I say lower it more all around. ;D roll the fenders and those tires should fit, if not, go smaller tire up front.

Great progress, smaller tired will let you go way lower and will make your wheels look ever better, you might even get a lil camber in the back.

I looked thru your thread, 225's look great on the Rotas on ur 3! ideal amount of stretch I think, you wont have any problems slamming it right away

stars.eg6 I know what you mean I really cant lower the front any more in the current state tho. Way too much poke in the front with 245's. And if I only lower the back... no. just no.

The factory front fenders are rolled, but not flat. This really inhibits things but I wont have to worry about it with smaller tires...

Only pic I currently have of my camber:
