Legit vs. Knock Off Brand Wheels??

Sooo What are legit brand wheels?? and what are considered knock off/fake brands??

To me, legit wheels are any wheel manufacturer that puts the research and development into their designs and comes up with new and innovative products, not solely based off those already in production.

Rota are all copies iirc but very good quality, sometimes better than the original. Lenso make some pretty good copies of obsolete BBS.

Most copies, such as copies of OE wheels, or tuners specials ( AC Schnitzer, etc) are good but may not fare well when bounced through potholes.

I have some Audi rs4 replicas on my mk4 golf, not bent them yet, they fit well and look nice. Even the laquer is still on the diamond cut finish

I mean like I like all types of wheels.. Just wanting to know which brands are real and not replicas.. like Tenzo Rs are replicas.. and volk/work/ssr design their own style and crap haha.. but hella expensive
