Next step was to lose the wheels, fit the r32 front and some wheel spacers.

Then a fully smoothed rear bumper and std exhaust

Sick shots man, I'm surprised how good the ride looks on steelies
Not many mk4's can pull off the steelies, but somehow mine really suited them at the time.
Next on the to do list was to get rid of the horrible side skirts, this left it sitting like this.

Thought I recognised the car / username. Patch off golf gti forum, with pretty much the only mk4 I've seen pull off the steelie look
Looking well man

It sat on the steelies for far too long, and after the new skirts were fitted some new shoes were in dire need.
Found some that looked nice, worked out the offsets and ordered adaptors.
They soon turned up and fitting day was game on.
A bit of tweaking had it sat like this.............

nice shots man, the fitment looks sick, what are the camber and wheel specs?
Wheel specs after using 16mm adaptors are 8X18 et24(215/40's) and the rears were 9X18 et 27(225/40's)
No camber shims.
so much better then when you first purchased it. i like it alot
the warning was true.
the dopeness was too good! haha
but it looks good man. i was iffy when i saw the wheels at first but the fitment it made were on point.
