New guy with an EK all the way from NC

Whats up everybody, i've been lurkin this site and following the stance movement for damn near about a year now and things are starting to finally fall into place for me. My last car was a crappy painted, steelie sitting, close to stock ride height eg8 with a little old d15b. Even though it was horrible, i still loved it to death lol. After lots of hard work, money saved, and ideas that needed to come together, i had to pick up something i can work with. I recently picked up a 97 civic ex, low miles, clean, and when i first saw it i knew it was perfect and had to be mine! Even though half of me thinks this car is perfect as is, the other half is telling me its still a blank canvas. The only future plan that i have for certain is, of course, moar low. Tell me what you think and shoot some future ideas!

i dont like the lower grille... but to each is his own... where in NC are you located?

oh trust me the grill is coming off as soon as i get a day off, just haven't had the time yet. I'm outside of high point

i say new wheels, headlights,front lip, and take off the spoiler so it doesnt look like a shopping cart and it would be dope.

yeah im savin for hopefully a set of te37s or rs's and just gonna keep these as winter wheels, wingless has also crossed my mind quite a bit. at the moment its only got a d16 with a built head, and all bolt ons, i plan on running low boost very soon though probably before i get another set of wheels

i say save some cash and swap the motor for a b-series but a low comp single cam would be good too.

try vwvortex for a set of cheap rs's too. might not be built but there are many deals for almost a complete set.
