Short shocks

For any of you guys with some experience with this subject what are some cars with short oem shock that I can easily find at a local pick n pull or a scrap yard? I have a pretty much stock 02 Dodge Neon sxt that was given to me as a graduation gift. I just wanna lay frame static seeing as its a automatic.

The plan is to build custom coilovers out of some oem shocks that I can grab out at the scrap yard and weld on some ground controls which I already have. My spring rates are 300f and 250r which should be perfect for everyday driving as I road in an srt4 the other day with the same rates.

I'm hoping to drop her about 3.5 inches all around which should put me about 1.5-2 inches off the ground and have the wheels im planning to get sittin nice. :dance: The wheels are hopefully going to be XXR 527's in 17x8.25 +25 chromium black if I can find them in stock somewhere! The tires I'm planning to run are 195x45s which should stretch nicely over the weird size of the 527s.

So my question what would be the best oem struts i could grab to start this build off? :think:

Ohh yeah and the struts are 2" outer diameter
