    Stance Focus RS ?

Hey all , only recently signed up , but been scanning thought the forums for ages now , personally , not 100% sure if you would class my car as having stance , but im running ET35 wheels (ET42 standard *nothing special i know*) so it does imo have a bit of stance/mean look to it , its my daily and more track car now as i have the need for speed in my blood , its not mega low but does cause for interesting moments with ramps and speedbumps , hope you like it as much as i do

Well little but expensive update , first thinks first , i got some new decals for the 1.2's , think they look miles better than the TD logo/word

next is this fucking seat ! iv had this think sitting in my room for two months waiting for a subframe to come from the USA , but sparco STILLL haven't got it to my supplier so i found a pair on ebay and bought them , but it wasn't all plain sailing

a by Jack Strathdee, on Flickr

the hole reason i bought these subframes was because they were FIA approved , now you normally get runners for them but i couldn't figure out why you would need/want as having a moving chair isnt per FIA rules , so i never bothered with them
but when i finally got my mounts i went to bolt them up with the side mounts and seat , nothing would line-up!!!

turns out you need the sliders for them to work (even thought sparco do a non fia approved subframe) these f-ing subframes still need the runners!, so since i got basicly the pair for the price of 1 i just set about it with a drill untill i was happy with the seating pos and popped it in!

but that was too easy! , now i had no where to attach my eye bolt to for the side part of my harness! , so quick adaptor made at work and bobs your uncle!!

next i nearly sold the car with this carry on!
Pistons in the brembos has jambed up so i got on the hunt for a seal kit, could i fuck find the piston seals , just the dust seals!, so i stupidly set about stripping them down , and disaster , once i had removed 1 of the jambed pistons part of the seal came with it , phoned god knows how menny places and emailed a heap but no one could guarantee me seals!
now i could of sent them off to get stripped down and rebuild , but i really was wanting to upgrade the brakes at a later date and didnt fancy spending £200+ getting the callipers rebuilt + £120 on a set of pads , so i bit the bullet and ordered some big brembos.... i mean AP Racing brakes! lol turns out brembo own AP lol

    huge!!

so thats it for now! i would of had two matching seats but the brakes took priority! , also they harness is a temp , im ordering a saftey devices 6 point item tomorrow!

also the car hasnt seen much love paint wise so got these to try and bring some life back into the imperial blue slut!

also got pulled by the fuzz for the first time in ages! , turns out while he was on the other side of the road driving towards each other at 40mph he could tell i had no BS number or postcode on my front or rear plate!, so slap on the wrist and il think il get some made up at halfords tomorrow with the hologram postcode/bs number

    :cop:

il get her cleaned up and some better pics!
Next on the list is 3" custom exhaust
    Front mount intercooler
    Swirl pot with bocsh 044
Live mapped with boost by throttle pos w/ high/low boost settings
    Saftey Devices cage
    passanger seat and harness
    Electric cut off
    Extinguisher system
    fibreglass boot w/polly window
    sump and fuel guard
    Log booked

and that should be me done!!! icard:

and just a old photoshop i found , this was the plan for the RS before i got the need for speed!

My only advice is to get a harness bar across the back because the way your belts are mounted, they can pull your spine down into your arse if you ever get into an accident at the track. Do'em right. It's safer and it's more comfortable (true story). Car looks great imo
