    Project r334 skyline

Thought I'd make a build topic aswell

So let's start from the beginning of this epic journey

started off with selling my jdm 2,2vtec prelude

After establishing that a fwd 220hp just wasn't gonna cut it so went shopping in JDM land were I found this beauty through a trader with only 86km's.

Was sold the moment I saw it and got it using overnight shipping!....Ok I lied...took the boat 2 months...but if I had the money and it was possible I probably would've!
When it finally arrived it took another week to get all the paperwork sorted and get some numberplates and fill it up for the first time!

First thing was removing the 180k speed limiter and adding aprox. 500hp:

So with all that massiv power it was time for some intimate time with the dyno!

with more then decent power considering the few mods and a stock ecu...

So now it was time to shoot some pics:

Tried my hand at some drifting

but decided I wanted to do something different...an r334 conversion!

So I got some parts and went for it!

    new dimensions:
total width: +65mm rear, +45mm front
    clearance: -45mm (±65mm left)
    length: +40mm

Swapped the OZ's for something bigger
    18" BK Racing
    9,5 et20 with 245/265

dropped the coilovers to lowest setting and now rubbing fenders front and back
5mm poke front, 1mm poke rear

...and then I encountered a speedbumper with a loose tile that got a bit to intimate with the splitter

So need to get that sorted before I can shoot some new pics

    thanks.

Planning on moving out the city to the suburbs with a lot less speedbumps so I might decide to drop it even more, but need to get the bumper sorted first.

love it, sucks about the speedbumps but thats what we deal with when we are low low.

added some spacers at the rear last week, took about a 10min drive to rub out the inner fenders so they fit snuggly now

Got a photoshoot planned this sunday so stay tuned for more!

    thanks.
the r334 conversion took around 2months and I''m waiting for the headlight brackets to be made at the factory in japan and get them shipped over so I can finally get them sitting tightly as opposed to the hardwarestore temporary fix. And yes they're actually making this for me after an order at the dealer...for normal retail price

Still needs moar low and wide, but with all the speedbumps I can barely get into my street as it sits right now without scraping and rubbing all the way

No problem getting an r34, just wanted to do something different and i love the r34 front, but i hate the boxy rear end. So now i've got the best of both worlds, and being a uras 2door r334 its the only one in Europe on the roads as far as i know
