I am new and am in great need of help!

Hey guys I am new.. My name is Kristen and I am from sweet home alabama.
I need some help with my 2001 toyota celica gt.
I have no idea about the measurements on the stance rims but i like the hella stanced ones... I was thinking too, if I was to chop up my fenders, and wheel wells, and added a widebody kit, I wonder how much I could lower it with a body kit and how big of rims I could get. I have 17's on there now. They aint stanced. Anyone else have a 01 celica???
(what I have done thus far to the dirty bastard

    2001 toyota celica gt 5-spd

new tranny ( done last year)
    Cold Air intake
HID Kit with halo headlights, purple lights
    17x7 Sport Max racing rims
    GReddy muffler

I have a coilover kit I am waiting to have put on Trying to shop around and figure out what rims I want atm

Here's a link to a website that can help you find out how deep/wide/tall you want your rims to be:
    http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp

Probably anything with a low positive offset, possibly negative offset would look good with some wide wheels. of course im new to stancing as well, so I'm just putting in my $.02. Lowering depends on your coilovers and also where you live. If you live in a bumpy area, then slamming the car doesn't make sense because you'll just get stuck on everything. Try a modest drop; maybe 1" or 1.5" first before you do anything lower than that. It's probably a good idea to get your body kit first before you get your wheels so that you can measure the distance from fender to wheel.
