well, it's only necessary if you feel the need to be able to adjust your "lowness" and I wasn't trying to come off cocky, just trying to give you some info. I would go coils from the start bc if/when the springs don't go low enough for you, you realize you should have bought coils in the first place.

Its all good. I appreciate the advice. I just dont want it to be too low that it scrapes. Also a set of good coilovers is out of my price range right now.

what are you considering a good set? And thats the beauty of coils, they are height adjustable so you don't have to go "too low that it scrapes"

I'm really not familiar with the brands but I know that the average set will go for about $1000. Too much for me right now. But what is the range of adjustment on coils?

that depends on the coils, if you go with BC's it's prob your best route, although there are other options like K-sport, Megan, Tein, H&R, etc.

Lowered in a little over a month ago on Tein S-Techs. Next step is to put on the new rims and add some wheel spacers.

the drop looks okay with the springs, maybe if you throw some 19's with a stretched tire and a front lip it won't look so bad after all

Yeah, needs a taller tire/wheel combo if you're just going to stay with the springs. I still say you should at least do a coil-sleeve conversion on some good struts.

I actually like the height I'm at right now. I live in New England and the roads are awful where I live, also a lot of speed bumps. Any lower and I wouldn't be able to go anywhere. I will be getting some larger wheels and some low profile tires eventually. Not sure how I feel about stretching my tires though. I wouldn't be able to do it myself and I don't know anywhere to get it done.
