Question for Veedub guys and Subie guys

What up y'all. I'm considering a change in vehicles very soon but I am already considering suspension. I am planning on selling my xb and currently have my eye on 2 different cars.

Let me start with the VW. I am considering getting a 4 door GTI 2006+. My question is will Universal Air Aerosport bags fit over modified stock struts? Also, I currently am running contitech rear bags with scion xb fbi brackets, does anybody have a pic of how the rear setup is configured? I had heard these might fit a GTI.

The subie car I'm considering is a Subaru Forester XT, 2004-2008. I saw that Forester STI conversion at HF5 and fell in love. My question is how low will installing Impreza WRx coilovers get me on the forester? i was told the suspension setup is the same and read a few articles but wanted to get some more opiniongs before I jump.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I know I would've gotten an answer on NASIOC or Vortex but thought I would ask the Stance gurus first. Also any opinions/experiences about either cars is greatly appreciated. I am probably only going to do suspension and wheels on whichever car I get and keep it that way until I pay off all my bills.

Haha, yeah I am thinking about it. After doing some research found out it will work on the GTI but won't go too low. There's kits that go hella dumped but requires removal of front sway bar and notched fram. So not sure I'm gettin rid of the B yet.

There is an STI converted Forester rolling around my neck of the woods too. I took a few pics of it the other day parked outside of Logans Steakhouse with my phone, i'll have to upload them on here.
