Just putting it out there, this has got to be one of the more memorable cars for me. Personally, I am a fan of the extreme spectrum of modifications, from double digit camber to raised 4×4 monster trucks. Its all a love or hate thing. However, not only is this car one of my favorites, its owner, left an impression on me a year ago – all without even meeting him. You may remember Vic, the Low & Loud STI, when he graced ripped onto the pages of StanceNation last September. Anyways, he’s back at it again with this clean Subaru BRZ.

The last time we left off, Vic owned a mean ’06 Subaru STI. Remaining loyal to the Subaru brand, he decided to change his game up and snagged this beautifully aggressive BRZ Limited. However, the word “limited” can’t really apply to this car as Vic ensured that would be one of the last words to describe this fine creation of his. From the bosozoku inspired victory pipes to the Junction Produce VIP accessories, he really made this RWD Subie his.

Although the BRZ was originally built with performance and functionality built in mind, Vic decided to go a different route with his car build. Now, before the self appointed car gurus begin to type up that extremely long paragraph about how he bastardized the car, wastes tires, or straight out ruined the car, remember, to each his own. Vic could care less about what the haters have to say, rather, he goes about this world doing what he loves, and doing it right.

One of the main looking points to this BRZ are the wheel/tire set up. Borrowing from the VIP culture of big full faced rims, Vic decided to run with Weds Kranze Bazreia wrapped in Federal tires. The camber comes in at a lofty -9 in the front and -15 in the rear. Dialing in the double digit rears was not easy, however, modified knuckles, coilovers, and swaybar remedied the complications. Either way, the wheels & tires are exactly how I like them – wide, stretched, and lips for days.

Vic, you just made me an ass guy.

I feel this picture captures the very essence of the car along with everything I love about it. From the Victory pipes to the  Tsurikawa subway handle that, back then, had to be stolen if you wanted one in your car, shows that Vic was heavily influenced by the Bosozoku style of car modding that took after the wild custom motorcycle crews that used to run all throughout Japan in the 80’s and 90’s. Looking back at Vic’s STI and this BRZ, it would be safe to guess that the bosozoku’s philosophy of “pro-anarchy” and the anti-establishment thinking has really influenced him.

The Nardi woodgrain steering wheel, Junction Produce Fusa + Tsuna ropes cost a pretty penny, but Vic knows how to treat a girl right.

Believe it or not, the only challenge Vic encountered was keeping the toe straight to minimize excess tire wear while dialing in that gorgeous camber. Must be nice, Vic, must be nice. Anyways, he tells us to keep an eye out for what he has in store. You can expect new wheels and a spoiler but something tells me he’s going to take this car to new heights. In addition, Vic would like to give special thanks to Yeni, Sid and Chris. However, I apologize to end on that note but try to enjoy the rest of these pictures by Sid Fligel, they’re absolutely stunning. Do me a favor though, reel up your jaw from the floor and clean up the drool, its pooling.
