Southern Worthersee is what really kicks the season off for me, and I for sure know I am not alone. This year was a bit different experience for me because I didn’t end up having my car done in time. With my Jetta being close to 1000 miles away in Connecticut, I ended up riding shotgun for the 3 days I spent in Helen, GA spending majority of light hours of the day hanging out shooting photographs with friends from all over the mid-west and east coast. Once the sun went behind the mountains, the crowds would start to form in the Helendorf (hotel) parking lot, slowly creating a huge party. You won’t see many photos from the event itself in my coverage (you’ll have to wait for part 2) but I did take dozens of random photos for you to enjoy. Look out for Part 2 in a couple days including an awesome video!
