That’s all we had to say when we first saw this crazy Subaru WRX STI! Unlike the first and second generations of the Subaru STI, we just don’t really see third generation STI’s getting into the aggressive fitment/stance movement. Obviously with the newer cars everything is much more costly, and there is a lot less parts available. However though, when it comes to having a aggressively fitted ride all you really need is some proper wheels and a good suspension, so we’re a little bit puzzled as to why there are so little STI’s of the latest generation out there with the right stance. We really don’t know, but with that said, please allow us to introduce you to Nick and his Subaru STI!

With Nick’s super busy schedule we have literally been trying to setup a shoot for over a month now! Well, one of our Washington based photographers, Jonathan, finally managed to get some pictures of it that we think really shows how awesome this car really is. These next couple of rolling shots belong in magazines under the Subaru advertisements! Make sure you hit Read More for a ton more pictures!
Not many people out there will dare to drive this low with $500+ front bumper lips on their cars. Especially not in Washington, where every now and then you will run into a pothole big enough to swallow a freaking baby! This WRX STI is Nick’s daily driver/commuter. No garage or trailer queen, it’s all about enjoying your car on daily basis and taking chances behind the wheel! Fellow 3rd generation STI owners really need to step their game up and give Nick some serious challenge.
Sitting Right:
17×10 Saleen Replicas
17×10 +20 front/+12 with 8mm spacers
17×10 +20 rear
205/50/17 tires
BC Racing Inverted coilovers
BC Racing front camber plates
This STI is literally like no other. The aggressive look that it pulls off is just mind boggling. It’s sitting on a custom set of 17×10 Saleen Replicas, along with BC Racing Inverted coilovers and BC Racing Camber Plates. The Chargespeed skirts and rear apron also add that nice touch and can’t be overlooked. Talking about small touches, many non-subaru owners may not notice this but this STI has custom taillight covers as well as color matched trim pieces such as pillars and grille.
Looking Good:
APR Front lip
Chargespeed Sideskirts
Chargespeed rear aprons
Blacked out headlights
Custom taillight overlays
Custom painted trim pieces and grill
Not that we think any of these mods were necessary, but they add so much to the car’s presence, especially that APR lip as mentioned before. So, it looks good standing still, it looks good in the rolling shots, but can it move? The 305HP power from the 2.5 liter boxer four wasn’t enough for Nick, so he decided to play around under the hood a little bit.
Running Strong:
Perrin Turbo Inlet pipe
Perrin Cold Air Intake
Invidia Catless Downpipe
Invidia N1 Racing Catback
Crawford A/O Seperator
Cobb Accessport
Obviously the stock performance wasn’t enough so throwing things like the Perrin Cold Air Intake and the Inlet Pipe, as well as the sick sounding N1 Racing Catback along with other things gave this car that “extra punch”. Big turbo, All Wheel Drive, aggressive stance that’s amazing looking, this car has it all. Big props to Nick and everyone that was involved in building this car in any way, shape or form!
