Year after year, FormulaD has gained a huge following internationally. Fully built drift cars roaring through the streets and tracks from a number of tracks set up across the United States, even gaining traction across other countries. As the drift season is about to start, a majority of each FD driver would display, even revealing their builds and liveries for this year’s season at an event called Tech Day. Super Street has collaborated with FormulaD to host an annual meet in Irvine to display a few builds from professional FD drivers. Thousands of car enthusiasts make their way towards the venue, filling up each parking spot, showing off their builds and vehicles with hundreds of others. Since 2013, the numbers have kept growing. Throughout the day, the lot would be crawling with vehicles trying to enter, and leave. Spectators would take photos of their favorite builds, or cars that cruise around Southern California, only seen on Instagram, or Facebook. Even though there are hundreds, even a thousand cars that appear, every one is there just to have a good time, and enjoy hanging with out everyone who shares the same passion.
