Kentucky Speedway. Home of NASCAR and the complete opposite – the Import Alliance Summer Meet. No left turns and checkered flags here, just slammed cars, beautiful woman and good times. This was by far the most laid back Import Alliance for me yet, and not in a bad way. Everything from the 5000+ attendees, the drive down from Milwaukee, WI and the after-parties were nothing but a great time. The way everything was laid out at this years Summer Meet was just awesome. Last year many of the cars were parked in the gravel parking lot, whereas this year they moved the entire meet to the infield of the track. Huge plus in my opinion. The cars were out of this world as usual. Couple cars that mainly stood out to me were Bradleys full carbon fiber s2k, and frank from Downstar in California had his EG6 SirS shipped across the country to attend. A lot of new cars were in attendance as well – cars I haven’t seen before. I loved that. It brought something new to the event. I couldn’t have asked for a better time. I can’t wait for fall meet in Nashville – enjoy the Kentucky coverage!
